Did you know that conservative would want to get rid of unelected bureaucrats that would actively oppose the elected executive officials agenda? This is SO dangerous to our democracy. They've seen how their side has been able to effectively push its policies through control of the bureaucracy, regardless of the makeup of Congress, or even who occupies the Oval Office

They're correct to be afraid (from their perspective) at the thought of some other faction gaining even a smidgeon of bureaucratic control

But why would any sane person oppose our incredibly viable ideas? They're so effective that they destroy everywhere we implement them! We can't let Orange Man make sure his constituents are represented and their concerns are addressed. It would be Extremely Dangerous to Our Bureaucracy!™
