The main difference is that he is more of a 2010s era Boogie style manipulator- more of a smooth talker, reputation not yet ruined so people are less readily willing to directly challenge him, a lot more subtle in some of his manipulation. 2020s era Boogie is just a mess of course.

I never actually watched the documentary, but I noticed in this clip that he's on Buprenorphine, that's Subutex (Suboxone without naloxone) which is typically used to treat heroin/opioid addicts. I didn't know he was a junkie, I missed that in the sea of boogie. They're almost certainly fake. People in thread have theorised that the closest they got to being true was his brother or (more likely) sister being sexually abused.
