It’s so weird that they haven’t brought her in for hard formed plastic “casts” to straighten her hands out.

They could have done that at some point right? Can they still? Buhhhh. Poor Luna. That looks so uncomfortable even if she can’t express it.
Luna has some, go to page 734. GenociderSyo posted a PT video where Luna has bright pink hand splints on her and the PT was working to bend Luna's legs with some success.
(I wonder if that therapist secretly hates Robyn as a client and only goes there because her agency forces her to do so because it's a guaranteed payment.)

Maybe they’re neglecting Luna because subconsciously, they know she’s gone. I know Robyn has always been a neglectful reptilian piece of shit, but Luna looks worse and worse in every picture. Having two healthy looking boys makes her condition that much more obvious. I can only hope Robyn doesn’t snap and cripple Woody or Atlas to keep the grift going.

It's not because they know she's gone, it's because Luna is only slightly more capable than a potted plant to demand their care and interaction. She'd fade right away into the home decor and die just like their actual houseplants if it didn't stroke Robyn's narc ego to prop her up for social media.

I'll be pretty miffed if Luna does get a grant for an accessible vacation. Luna is *not the child those grants are for. They're for children who could truly enjoy such a vacation. Luna isn't aware of anything and can't enjoy anything, and she'd just freak the other kids out. Robyn is right that vacation spots aren't generally accessible, but why on earth are you taking a potato on vacation to a cabin? Of course it's not accessible. The grant she should have applied for was for respite care, so that they could take the two functioning children on a Luna-free vacation.

On a lighter note, Oakley is utterly adorable. 10/10 baby, would tickle his feet and make faces at him to elicit giggles.

edit because I just left out the word NOT.

So according to Robyn, Luna is just another disabled child. She uses a wheelchair (?), and her little wagon can't make it to the lake because disabled children are underserved and not treated the same as able-bodied kids. But someday, Mama and Luna will go to an inclusive theme park and "do all the things." That's the narrative she's trying to spin on the gram. I wonder if she really believes her own bs or is this done to protect her fragile ego?

Luna is a vegetable. All she can really benefit from is the quiet and comfort of her own home. She should be dreaming of having all these experiences with her healthy (albeit neglected) toddler and baby Oaken. Those two are the only ones to benefit from being in nature, walking to the beach or going to theme parks. Glenn knows; he's dumb but he knows. That's why he never shows Luna anymore.

We don't need a chronic Lyme arc
Tbh that's more on bad luck and can start by just briefly stepping in a patch of grass, I doubt the deer can expedite it much.
It's odd how close you can get to those deer though, do other campers feed them? They're being surprisingly chill

Deer ticks carry Lyme, so interacting with them/being near them would significantly increase the chances of encountering an infected tick

Atlas is a perceptive little lad, and even at his young age I bet he knows that Luna takes up a lot of time and attention. Now that attention is also diverted towards Little Tree, and Atlas may be learning that sometimes it's easier to just go do your own thing than try to vie for that attention when you're feeling sad, or angry, or even happy.

Now I've made myself sad.

I doubt the deer can expedite it much.
The deer carry ticks.

Getting Luna on a theme park ride or kids roller coaster will either centrifugally drain her accumulated brain liquid and bless (curse) her with years added to her life as she generates more replacement cyst fluid in the newfound cranial space, or it will kill her. I know it probably does not work like that but damn. Theme parks for a hydrocephaly child does not seem like the right course of action imo.

I can see wanting to give Luna 'experiences' like the zoo, brightly colored candy store, kid's science museum with tactile exhibits maybe? Something not physically jarring. In case she can 'experience' things to a point, Id personally probably want to take her out occassionally too. I do feel for the boys, and I hope that Glenn will start taking them both for a guys day out type father/son fun activities as soon as Oaken can handle it.

Huh, so the American lyme disease tick lives mostly on deer? I got confused because our lyme-carrying tick can come from literally any mammal, or simply by just being in grass.

I don't understand why she is bleating about the track not being wheelchair (or shopping wagon) accessible when Luna is a very small 5 year old!
Does she squick out Gymbrah so much he can't/won't carry her places? Imagine how much more sympathy her posts would get if they were all about how they HAD to take Luna to experience the Lake, but because of the lack of accessibility, poor Gymbrah had to carry his daughter there. Such Daddyful dedication!
