Personally, I don't care that they're hiring people they already know and have worked with. I know I probably wouldn't of gotten half the jobs I've worked if it wasn't for having a friend or family who would vouch for me and was already working there. So it just seems kind of silly to go after them for that reason so I'm assuming it's the latter.

I don't really see it as people being upset at Vshojo for nepo-hiring and I'm (as well as others I assume) willing to give them the benefit of the doubt, but it's hard to take a 400~ character "frankly, I'm hurt" speech seriously when all they did is hire friends and high profile retirees so far and how the last open audition went. Hopefully we'll actually get some diamonds in the rough out of the auditions, not just Vshojo Artemis or Vshojo Mint. I can't say Vshojo is stupid, though, all those high profile fanbases bring a fuckton of eyes to the streamers, so any small vtuber would instantly blow up.

I read that her moms facebook was found and that she is filipino. She posted pics of her daughters but I never saw the actual link. I already posted this video a few days without context before where she sounds exactly like Suisei. I guess that's from that facebook account of her mom. If the left girl is Anemachi (can't tell by the voice) then yes, she is partly a flip.

So what you're telling me is that the comet is a Hafu. Doesn't that imply that she literally is a rising star?

I mean, Flips aren't known to have many achievements. Same people who has a guy called Bongbong Marcos in charge of them. But if this is the case (and it looks closer to being the case) then I guess all it takes is some Jap blood for the Flips to achieve something.

Its more how many syllables are crammed into each other in this one, that fast singing thing is very Japanese. To her credit it never sounds slurred there's no point where you can't understand her but it still comes off as trying to translate something literally rather than being more creative/economical with words.

EDIT: Also: I thought Suisei's face was leaked quite a few pages back. I take it that one was wrong? I honestly can't really make out her voice well enough in the clip a couple posts above.
