Late, gay, and lazy: I was watching "Raw Phil" premier his fight stick compilation video yesterday and saw that SithlovesDsp mention the "stick he just bought Phil" in the chat. No one was responding to him and I didn't feel like engaging with him so I just left.
I'm now curious if anyone else mentioned this or maybe he just wanted attention. I'm pretty sure this was the same Sith guy who got banned recently for brininging up drama.

that sith account isnt the real one i think, when i clicked his name it said account made 2024. The real sith account is older and is name @sithalchemist something. dsp did ban the real sith though as you said.
this is the victrix stick by the way, $400. And sanwa denshi does not mean higher grade sanwa like phil said lol, its just the normal sanwa buttons and JLF joystick. He said that when he bought the QANBA too, that the sanwa in them are "premium sanwa parts"

How many fight sticks does he have. He used to have like 10 back in CT. Did he throw those all away? Does he not have any spare parts lying around.

I guess he saw the price tag and needed a new toy and bought it right away on whatever Amazon Credit he has right now.

This part is the biggest giveaway IMO. DSP loves being able to humblebrag about muh "high-end, custom, robust style luxury parts" too much to cheap out on a joystick.
If you wanted to be super charitable, MAYBE a dent let DSP choose what stick to buy for him. It's way more likely that a fan gifting a stick wouldn't go straight to one of the more expensive ones though.

Skimmed through Raw Phil's restream of Phil's "glorious" new stick SF 6 session and I saw one funny part: he lost against a Master with a Mr 1600 rate. The game only took ONE ranking point from Phil. One. And his opponent left the match after round 1 because he probably only got Goo gats for that. Also: was at one point at 1575 MR and then fell right down to 1500 again yelling "paddern play" every time he lost. If i had a $ for every time he yells "paddern play" I could retire by now

My rule of thumb is: if it's a purchase that benefits PHIL and only PHIL, there's a 99% chance he bought it himself. If it's something like the mini PC that he uses once or twice and then chucks it in the fag closet, never to see the light of day again, it's 99% chance of being dent-bought. If it's somewhere in the middle, then it's around a 50-50 chance on whether it was Phail-bought or dent-bought.

I think very rarely do they anonymously buy him things. So if he gets a gift and it isn't named. And it wasn't getting fucking talked about in chat by some retard, then Phil bought it. Tips are another manner. Because that is almost a calling card from that one faggot. But, really his dents are as fucking narcissistic and as attention starved as their papa phil. And I cannot think of one of them who is willing to actually be in the background.

Reminder he could've just bought a converter from Brooks and used any fight stick/gamepad ever made on what the fuck ever system he wants like a bunch of pros do for like 70 bucks or so but he has some warped belief about potential input lag or something so he won't do it.

He also went on a big rant when Xbox made a change which would disable some unlicensed third party peripherals a while back, using it as a launching pad to smugly reassure himself that he was super smart for buying a $300 stick to play on Playstation instead of a cheap converter for his existing Xbox stick. Yeah, I know that doesn't make sense, do you think Phil cares?

I think after spending two weeks obsessively dialing in every single frame of the game, he boxed himself in so that without blaming a broken joystick, he’s the problem. So now it’s the joystick’s fault, curious how many more times he can kick the can down the road.

If he has any mechanical knowhow he could convert one of his older sticks to something more modern. I converted a very old SFIV stick to a hitbox that'll work on anything. Little Googlefu and a little money and I didn't have to toss it out. Half the price of an official hitbox and I got to figure out how I liked it.

Phil is completely opposed to fixing things instead of straight up replacing. I kinda understand given his ability to completely fuck up the simplest repairs.

He can be crafty but from all I see of that disaster repair stream it was down to incompetence. There were behind the scenes begs for a new stick or he bought one and claims "donation"

He looked awful in the repair stream and first stream on Thursday. Like no sleep and had hangover I think reality that he's no SF god is cracking his ego and mental wellbeing in a really bad way.
