Grazes depend upon the energy of the bullet and how much they tear matter. Look back at Kyle. A close range bullet obliterated an arm, imagine a .22 from 30-50 yards. Lethal enough to kill with a neck shot but not enough to take off Trump’s full ear. A high energy round does not miss in a way that a .22 bullet would such that the real sitting President would still be alive. If you want evidence just look at the Kennedy autopsy, even a carcano rifle bullet was enough to obliterate JFK’s neck.

Video of event i can't archive but the cspan copy if the gunfire is approx 8:20 you can hear someone presumably ss say "shooter down" amid all the are we clear, clear good the move chatter at 9:10

I don't think trump staged this an ear graze is way too close for that. The reaction of the crowd is befuddling to me though. Most of them don't get the fuck down, and they don't seem to panic or move. I have no explanation, but compared to false shooter alarms where entire malls and schools panic, it seems odd.

Also, no idea how accurate gunshot fire is over the audio at play but it seems suppressed or small caliber? Its very dull but that could be blown out mic pickup

Wikipedo is doing a similar downplay, it's a "shooting at a Trump rally", not an assassination attempt, apparently. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2024_shooting_at_a_Donald_Trump_rally

For comparison, they do call the attempted assassination of Reagan an attempted assassination, instead of "1981 Shooting at Washington Hilton".
