Good, that's how it should be. I do the same( except for the married part) I don't trust gun free zones, because that's painting a target on a location saying "free kills" to a deranged weirdo that wants to pull a domestic terrorist attack.

I couldn't agree more.

When I first read some headlines about all of this, I thought I was going to shit out my heart or something. I would have felt the same way if an attempt had been made on Biden.

I hate Biden with every fiber of my being-- I have no sympathy for him over the dementia or the elder abuse either. If I read tomorrow that he passed in his sleep, I wouldn't feel a thing. An assassination attempt, however, is an entirely different story.

This kind of shit is really, really bad for the country, regardless of how you feel about the politician. It's also unfortunately a symptom of where we are as a country right now, and it's sad.

Shooter's dead and allegedly ID'ed.

Take everything with a grain of salt though. The buzz from the entire situation is bound to cause some false information to propagate for a bit. It'll take a bit for the rumours to be separated from the truth. Everything is alleged at this stage (except that the shooting occurred and Trump was non-fatally injured), but some details are like, 95% confirmed though (keeping that 5% open as a "just-in-case" since shit can sometimes 180).
