I mean if the mob can kill Kennedy and get away with it while having the FBI elbow deep in their ass by using a mental case relative of one of their members and then killing said mental case with another mob connected guy it wouldn't be out of the question. It would be extremely easy for the feds or GOP to get some fringe weirdo schizo or tweaker fired up and place them in the audience with a gun in their pants and a sniper with a bead on their head. A controlled false assassination attempt would be extremely easy to do for any group with large sums of money.

There's an entire swath of the populace that isn't hard right or left, which is for whom such arguments are attempting to appeal. Nobody and I do mean actually fucking nobody in the past ten years has thought a progressive/commie/whatever would be swayed by such logic.
