The crazy thing is that, realistically speaking, I don't think this assassination attempt won't change a thing in terms of electoral outlook and it'll still be a razor-thin margin.
Americans as a whole are still incredibly divided, and coupled with the rapid news cycle this will likely only motivate those who already back Trump.

I hate how often this is being reposted. This is obviously somebody else who changed their username and profile info then locked their account to get attention. This is not the shooter it's just somebody baiting for attention from people like this poster.

I think a lot of religious righties see Trump as protected by God, so this would only reinforce that view.
