Even so, you would think that, out of over 500 attempts, at least one would be successful. Castro was just a tinpot dictator of some tiny island shithole, not a President of the United States with his own Secret Service detail and armoured Presidential motorcade.

Considering Trump had a head turn to avoid being hit in the back of the skull, preventing a kill shot, apparently seconds before the shot was fired, I’d have to say the only reason we’re joking around lightheartedly is because the only thing the shooter didn’t have going for him was being able to trigger the Sniper Elite x-ray cam.
