Really, I expected nothing less. When push comes to shove, Bob is a fucking coward who refuses to stick his neck out when others can take the fall for him. We all know he wishes it would have gone down differently. He hates Trump so much that he literally wouldn't care about the ramifications of a presidential candidate being assassinated on the campaign trail. All he cares about is the Bad Orange Man ceasing to exist, as if that would suddenly solve all his problems and usher in the Superior Future he's been desperately waiting for. In reality, not only would he still be a failure of a man, but Democrats would become utter political pariahs, and any leftist policies would be political suicide for years to come.
