Careercow Donald J Trump - 45th/47th President of the USA, convicted felon, Epstein bro, Putin simp, serial liar, sore loser, cheat and the Chris-Chan of Presidents. THIS IS NOT A POLITICAL DEBATE THREAD.

That doesn't mean its staged tho' it just means Trump is a loon who sees an opportunity and takes it even if his damn life is on the line. Not that unbelievable, considering his personality.
I didn't say it was staged. What I'm saying is that he actively pushed secret service out of the way so they could get those shots, he knew they would look phenomenal regardless of how he looked.

MSNBC hit the brakes since the shooting and has kept quite a lot of political blowhards off the air and pretty much turned it over to NBC News. They also didn't put much resistance against using the word "assassination". Keeping Joy Reid off the air was certainly an executive decision.

Whether this will finally shitcan the last 7 years of doomerism out of Democrats, I think this might be it. The doomerism doesn't really land when they're out to kill Trump.

The consensus on Reddit is that the election is truly over.

Haven't been paying attention to Trump's campaigning since he did an NFT drop, is there a Vice President lined up for him yet?

There's still 4 months and a lot of crazy retards. Not to mention I can see Trump actively going against the advice of his SS managers and just continuing his campaign rallies in their current form, claiming something to the effect of not wanting to show weakness.

I'm surprised no one has been able to figure out this shooter. The usuals are seizing on the R registration... which if he was an R base voter that would be the youngest NeverTrumper person ever.

Maybe the DeSantis team is trying to get back into the race.

A theory is he registered R to fuck with the primary, but that's speculation. The fact that the dude was this proficient with guns and wore a gun meme shirt really doesn't make him seem like a dyed in the wool liberal.
Regardless, he missed, so he'll forever be known as the bitch who missed. I wonder if he had time to process any of that shame before his head exploded.
EDIT: Apparently he registered 3 years ago? I don't know. No one seems to know jack shit about this guy.

At age 20 (and not working on a PAC as some intern), there could be all sorts of paths.

Libertarians are interesting because on the whole there isn't that much that unites them... one of the things that does is gun ownership. Beyond that and free weed, the divergence is huge. Right after the St. Floyd/BLM crap you had a significant bunch of them playing paddycake with DSA/BLM faggots and a broader bunch of these "pragmatist (but not really)" libertarians literally would have been socialists but have a minor disagreement with them on tax policy. That and several more phenotypes of libertarians are all NeverTrumpers. Maybe this dude got sucked into an L-hole and became an accelerationist?

The NeverTrump libertarians are essentially at war right now with the other branches that are Trump-neutral to Trump-acolytes. The biggest known sworn faction of them is the Mises Caucus.

How many people are talking about his martyrdom as if the dude is suddenly going to get a 75% vote or some shit now.
Yeah this makes no sense whatsoever. So some guy who is against everything Trump stands for is now going to vote for him because he survived an assassination attempt?

Keep in mind that in 2020, the support group regulars thought Trump was going to win 75% of the vote because of Hunter Biden’s penis. They also counted lawn signs and bumper stickers as if that was the pulse of Real America ™️ and he was going to win over 400 electoral votes.

Honestly, who knows at this point. This is a new situation...the last time an assassination attempt occurred it was against Reagan and for completely nonpolitical reasons, and not during an election year either.

Who knows, but undecided people would maybe gravitate for thinking Trump is badass or something for how he handled himself.

Not to mention, Biden's chances were pretty low before this happened.

So don't be surprised that we have 4 more years of white house antics and shitty comedians making Trump jokes.

I think over 95% of voters know who they are going to vote for at this point and it has very little to do with anything pertaining to this election. People are not necessarily voting for candidates, they vote for the systems that support them personally. A postal worker who has voted consistently Democrat for 30 years is not going to switch to Trump, no matter how many assassination attempts he survives. He’s voting for the system that is more likely to give him a pension and keep his job up until then.

Now that remaining 5% may very well be the deciding factor of the election but the fever dreams of monster blowouts are not going to happen.
