Maybe the local police officer actually DID save Trump, as the shooter would've panicked and not taken the extra time to carefully line up his shot after aiming at the officer to make him back off.

Had the local police officer not gone up the stairs, the shooter could have focused more on taking the shot and probably wouldn't have missed.

Well said. He was clearly someone others would do well to look up to. He set a good example and lived and died doing what he dedicated his life to - saving others. He deserves remembrance and a plaque at his firehouse. Clearly it wasn't just a job to him

Yeah, I figured an something as serious as an assassination attempt would cause people to maybe cool their heels and grow up a bit, but somehow the left is coping and seething way harder over this than Biden's debate performance. If there was going to be a sobering moment of self-awareness and unity as a country, this would be it.

It's depressing, but there's also a comfort in knowing with absolute certainty these people cannot be reasoned with, and should be disregarded without a second thought. If Trump was dead, they'd be celebrating.

It should be clear to everyone that this is not a question of difference in opinion and methodology on matters like economics, foreign policy, roles of the federal vs. state government, etc. They're fake-as-fuck bad faith arguing grifters at best, and actually outright destructive hostiles at worst. And I do think some normal people will notice this.

I'm glad in a way; this seals it for Trump, and the cards have been laid bare on the table. I just hope we can be successful, efficient and peaceful about removing the malignant, subversive ideological rot in our society.

I have two associates as part of my team who are consistently low performers. I have been trying to fire them for years, but my company will not allow me to do so since individuals are graded on the bell curve. However, my company has a very strict social media policy where individuals may not make posts to which views might be misconstrued as those representative of the company. These two are client-facing.

I was tipped off that these two low performers have been spending hours on end making unhinged rants via multiple social media platforms, including LinkedIn, condemning the shooter for missing, how there need to be more attempts, etc. Tomorrow morning, I’m going to strut into the Human Resources office and get their terminations expedited.

Don’t let a good disaster go to waste.

🚨New info from a source in the Secret Service community — Trump’s usual protective Secret Service detail was worked so hard (working 7 days a week with no days off) that many of agents assigned Saturday were temporary replacements from different field offices.

This is not the usual protocol for sitting presidents and vice presidents but “typical” for former presidents, (although no former presidents have run again in modern history.)

“Trump has a permanent detail, however it’s much smaller in the amount of bodies,” the source said. “His detail has been worked so hard with all the travel that they’re working 7 days a week with shift changes. so HQ sends in temp agents to supplement - not a good scenario. Mission Failure, IMHO.”

🚨 (cont.) I’m told the only permanent agent from trump’s detail during the rally was SAIC (Special Agent In Charge) Kern, two sources within the Secret Service community told me. All others were temps. Pittsburgh USSS Field Office had a Jill Biden visit and designated a lot of resources to her, the source said. Also - the advance work only occurred one-day beforehand bc of a lack of resources.

Someone at the top wanted Trump gone. It was an inside job going to be covered up by negligence. They were gonna use the DEI hire's negligence to throw them under the bus.

This isn't a deep plan. They just gave Trump and RFK jr less SS detail and hoped someone would eventually take Trump and/or RFK jr out.
