DIVINE INTERVENTION​

My computer went down on Friday. My various rebooting methods resulted in a consistently black screen. I figured it finally gave up the ghost after 15 years of daily use. Naturally I did not back up any of my recent files. A computer expert we know suggested it was my monitor. He said the one I owned had a reputation for quitting suddenly. I told him it couldn’t be the monitor. It had to be the computer because it wouldn’t reboot after I foolishly fiddled with the system. He bet me $100 that it was the monitor.

I was having a bad weekend. The effects of my chemotherapy kicked in and it rendered me useless. I could not get out of bed to use the computer anyway. Eventually I dragged myself out of bed and out to our backyard patio. Tina was there with our son. She had her laptop and was (as usual) perusing news stories. I told her she could forget about me drawing anything any time soon.

Suddenly the news dropped. There had been gunfire at Trump’s rally in Pennsylvania. My chemo-addled stomach churned further. My immediate reaction was “NO!” Then I saw Trump had been hit in the head and dropped. I felt like dropping too. A nightmare! I suddenly thought of JFK’s assassination. I heard the bad news at school—I was six years old.

Then a bloodied Trump miraculously rose to his feet. He had his fist raised and shouted “Fight!” Then I thought, “Trump just won the election.” His bravery and his America-first love of his country were on display for all to see.

I decided to shake myself out of my torpor and fight. I needed to draw a cartoon, but first I had to fix my computer. I thought maybe it could be the monitor, so I drove out to our nearest box store and bought the cheapest one I could find. I plugged it in and expected nothing to happen, but the apple logo magically appeared and I soon had everything running, including my trusty 15 year-old scanner.

Trump was incredibly lucky. Had he not turned his head toward the right in that precise moment, he would have been a dead man. An angel must have been watching over him. So that’s what I have drawn here.

Now we need to figure out why the Secret Service missed such an obvious setup for an assassin. Something is very fishy, and it smells like the Deep State Swamp.

Meanwhile, I owe our computer expert friend $100.

People seriously need to think on what this platitude actually means. To "unite the country" you'd need to compromise on, at a minimum, tranny shit and immigration.

I'd like if the sane people in the country were united, but that's an altogether different goal than uniting the fucking brainwashed zombies with the normal people. After reading that interview @ForgedBlades posted saying Lindsey Graham was in his ear the entire plane flight afterwards and came out happy, I worry that they actually have Donald shook.

Uniting does not mean compromise in my eyes. Obviously it does to most Republicans, but I digress.

What I'm saying is that Trump needs to get his message out there to get the American people to listen and understand his policies instead of the media telling everyone how they should feel about the said-policies.

Trump's policies are not at all radical. They're common fucking sense, and most normies would be wholly on board if the media wasn't so hellbent on swaying public opinion rather than ... Reporting the news. lol.

This is a very important lesson to learn in life: sometimes people will not like you. There's nothing you can do to change that. But if you compromise who you are to please other people, you run the risk of you not liking yourself. That to me is much worse than other people not liking you.

Most people being followers without an ounce of critical thinking is exactly why we're in the trouble we're in.

The thing is, in the beforetimes, we lived in a "tolerant" society. We would put up with your silly bullshit, but we didn't have to live it. You want to do x, y, or z? Fine, but we don't want to hear about it. Worship whatever god, fuck whoever, dress up like a dog and get paddled in the privacy of your own home, but do it privately and keep to yourself when you're in public.

There's a big difference between being tolerant of others and embracing them, and that's what we've lost along the way. We've cast aside the ideals that made our society a great one in the pursuit of appeasement or comfort of fringe minorities, at the expense of others. You can tolerate fringe minorities and give them the same rights and responsibilities as other citizens, but you can't elevate them above the majority and allow them to lead. That's fucking madness. It only leads to destruction. That's the enshittification of our society.

I think a lot of it stems from post-colonial guilt, which is downright retarded. The Be Kind narrative is a mindfuck for too many. Sucks that a lot of the people who end up coming here are the dregs of their societies, and the sources of those people admit this.

This guy starts talking about how based Poland kicks out migrants as soon as they start their shit, but America falls for hijabi tears. He's not wrong. It has to stop somewhere, and the only thing The Left in this country offers is more money for Israel, more money for Ukraine, an endless war horizon with other nations and with each other over fringe issues that most of us just can't be bothered to give a fuck about. "Vote for us, or Project 25 will get you!"
