But this is the mentality of the left period: The win condition is not Trump losing the election, the win condition is Trump never being a choice in the first place. In this whole post, not once is voting mentioned as a way to hold someone accountable. So in this logical spiral, it's easy to see where this chain of evens results in "all that's left is violence".
It's quite disturbing tbh. I just think destiny is the most public one to crack and disinigrate loudly in real time.
He's referencing when he's in power, with the expectation, likely less justified, that he will refuse to leave. The reason the win condition isn't Trump losing the election is because they believe that Trump will simply refuse to lose, with help from the Second Amendment people.
Destiny has long since proven that under no circumstances should he be taken seriously. anybody taking the retarded stance that the shooting is purely karma from Trump and all the so-called right-wingers on the internet calling for violence - totally ignoring the massive media campaign to demonize Trump as broadly and deeply as possible, along with all the so-called left-wingers on the internet screaming for blood...
It’s not even a disputable fact or a conspiracy theory that Reddit Jannies and powermods lean heavily left but for them to be leaving up all kinds of fedposts and not banning many of those posters, just deleting the most egregious ones and essentially SWEEPING IT UP, makes me wonder if the advertisers and the “investor types” are starting to realize that kind of stuff isn’t good for marketing PR image.
But can't he see that there is a HUGE difference between some anonymous retards arguing on the Internet, vs bringing that shit into real life, and then glorifying it, and then autisticaly escalating the situation and not just letting it go?
It's important to realize, the Left simply doesn't see it this way - from their perspective, the rhetoric and the escalations are entirely one-sided. Remember what they believe,
- Trump was the first one to invoke the 'Second Amendment people' should he lose, and called for Hillary Clinton to be jailed.
- Trump's first presidency is enabled by Russian cyberops,
- He is willing to to stage an insurrection to stay in power,
- He has a stacked Supreme Court that will protect him from any legal repercussions
- His supporters are all crazy cultists who believe in the things like QAnon and resurrected President Kennedy.
- Kyle Rittenhouse shot two innocent spontaneous rioters out of racism.
- His power base is supported by a loose network of white supremist, Neo-Nazi, KKK groups,
- Various pro-America movements and things like Project 2025 all point to an imminent fascist takeover.
- Oh yeah and existential threat to America as a democracy and country as we know it.
And their conception of the average right-winger is autism and quaaludes personified. They're gullible, backward, quick to offend, willfully ignorant and are obsessed with guns and freedom. They are a highly suspicious, highly cynical, live in a different decade and find nothing funny, hence the Right can't meme - which is why they need to be taken very seriously, because at the same time, just allowing them in the same online spaces risks brain rot to normal people.
The enlightened Left can get away with a-logging Trump because it's both justified and they're all into the subtext. The super-serious Right can't be trusted to even vote for their own interests, so of course they should be careful when they 'joke' about alarming things like God Emperor Trump.
I'm not even being facetious, I used to buy a lot of this bullshit, and what Destiny is saying would be cathartic for a lot of people because it's something they not sure they can say.
I don't know how to say this in few words, but even in divided society individuals should be able to consider individuals on the opposite end as potentially simply misguided, or manipulated into opposite ideology, or simply misinformed and people should perceive their opponents as redeemable under some circumstances (rational or irrational) by some intervention, by enlightening them etc.
We can usually imagine our enemies having a "coming to Jesus moment" under some conditions. I mean we can literally imagine it happening as a possibility - not that it happens a lot or often. In fact it rarely happens but this ability to imagine them figuring their shit out is what stops us from cutting each other's throats most days. And Destiny doesn't seem to have that human trait alive... Destiny thinking every bystander is equally worth killing (as opposed to winning them over) actually means that his belief is that half of the population is not simply corrupt, it is intrinsically evil. They were born as "others", the entirety of humanity is split along the Trump line and that's enough to define the entirety of person.
Trump's supporters are a big part of why he drives people insane. The willful anti-intellectual tone of their defense of him frequently comes across as troll logic, and after eight years of waiting for the penny to drop and for them to come to their senses, more and more people are just deciding to write them off. Given that from their point of view, they are accomplices in a plot to allow a crazy fascist to seize power and end democracy as we know it probably makes this feel a bit personal.
