Real interesting; we've all seen the game savaged, but this guy goes about it in a more substantive way, focusing a bit on the story problems, which made me realize flaws that Rev. 60 had....which had only ever been pointed out by @Jaimas before, and I forgot about them after reading his review in the wiki. This made me remember the problems Wu has as a writer of drama; in the same way that OPL used to expect everyone to know him and his likes / interests / obsessions, Wu has been with these characters and narrative for so long that he doesn't realize how unwelcoming this story is... It's as though he attempts a "drop you in the middle of the action" plot, which prompts questions from the audience and encourages involvement, and then.....never answers the questions or expands on anything, short of you reading The Checkerboard Enema again, if you bought it....and from what I understand, even then, this expanded cyclopaedia raises more questions than it answers.

Come to think of it, wasn't Wu obsessed with Aeon Flux? Because there was an MTV / Liquid TV published graphic novel called The Herodotus File which attempted to fill in the Flux background, shed light of the Bregnan / Monican political feuds, etc. It was fascinating, frustrating, and my copy fell apart....

...but the point is, I would bet dollars to donuts that was the seed for The Chessboard Trannylogica.

Anybody stupid enough to donate to this dumb-fuck's campaign is stupid enough to donate for his typing game, but even the dumbest marks learn after getting burned touching a flaming hot stove, so somebody with actual donors will get the spot instead.

This is just fucking incredible. The trans(kek)lation is of course: 'One of the reasons I'm considering running for office is so that I can force through laws that fit my narrow utopian vision without needing to negotiate/engage in diplomacy, basically acting like a dictator'

The idea that Wu or any politician is able to wield that level of executive power, especially at the absolutely mediocre entry level position John will no doubt be going for, is pure Flynt in terms of delusion. It really summarises both the lack of knowledge he has about public service and the rich seam of Dunning-Kruger that runs through everything he does.

He is so naive and narrow minded that I can really see him bankrupting a city of millions and all its supporting industries to cater to a small handful of troons in technology, and then calling that a success.

I'm envisioning something like Mugabe, but with the relative percentage of people directly oppressed being much higher.

I'm not a religious person, but I sincerely hope and pray he goes ahead with a campaign. Make sure twitter asspats are fed to John at the maximum level to ensure he does it. You can see the wheels turning in his head as yet another career path crystallises and gives him purpose.

It wasn't too long ago that some of us were worried that upon release of the masterpiece that is Revolution 60, there would be less to laugh at from Wu....

Then we got introduced to "Journalist Wu" who took the same standards of quality that she established for her game and applied them to her "writing" (i.e. asking questions on twitter and calling it work), thus ensuring that we still had a form of Wu-based amusement... But apparently that career choice was too demanding.

Now, we see the next evolution in that which is Wu. Political Candidate Wu! Please let this be a thing. If so, we'll still be here after another 3,000 posts!

Hillary Clinton is more likeable and even relatable to people then wu is and that's saying something. he does realize he will have to appeal to a broad base to get elected anywhere right? did he not see what happened to clinton? wu has been shit talking white men for years, he doesent think he might need white men's votes? hillary sure didn't when's her inauguration? oh yea she lost to the political equivalent of clyde cash.
