Did he ever apologize for any of this? If not then there’s damn good reason to bring this up. I’m not convinced this isn’t some snake shit. Especially if Trump did die this fucker would’ve been the RNC choice by default
Not publicly that I know of, but the man has been making an active effort to support Trump and given the VP nod and Trump's tendency to hold grudges... I'd say there was almost certainly a private apology.

I believe he did, to Trump's face even in meeting for the senate seat.

When Trump wins, and if Moreno loses in OH (but I doubt it at this point), he just replaces Vance in his seat. I'm sure DeWine has already been told of this and it was part of signing off, Trump wins = Moreno wins = DeWine appoints himself or lets some RINO butt buddy take the seat.

It's so hilarious and fitting that Trump announced his shitty VP pick in game show format with eliminations coming before the announcement of the winner. The Apprentice lives on!
This is how it's been done for about 50 years. The introduction of the VP the day before or 1st day of the con is standard practice. The lead-up is all about the speculation, it drives interest and excitement for an otherwise boring 4-day infomercial.

Wouldn't Vivek Ramaswamy appeal more? Vance seems like the kind of guy who appeals to boomers.
Vivek Ramaswamy has the same "is he an opportunistic sycophant or a genuine loyalist" dynamic going on with him like Vance does. It doesn't seem like it would improve the situation much if he is chosen. At least Vance maybe has some use appealing to the Rust Belt in some way? Maybe? Ramaswamy doesn't even have that.

Past comments from Ramaswamy:
Trump was banned from Twitter and Facebook days after the January 6 riot for inciting violence on the platforms. Ramaswamy criticized the tech giants’ move in a Wall Street Journal opinion piece as a violation of free speech, but he also had some choice words for Trump himself. Ramaswamy described the riot as “disgraceful” and called Trump’s actions “egregious” and “downright abhorrent” on Twitter.
But now that he is running against Trump for president, Ramaswamy is confusingly and aggressively refusing to address his comments. When MSNBC’s Mehdi Hasan pressed him about the criticisms Wednesday night, Ramaswamy did everything he could to avoid actually answering the question.
Hasan asked Ramaswamy to explain his comments several more times, but Ramaswamy never gave a straight answer. Instead, he kept saying what he would have done on January 6.

This just shows to me that people like him can change their minds about him being Hitler and come around The Don. Which is a pretty valuable look. Or he's a spineless bitch, but I'm leaning towards it being something nicer than that.
