She said that everything was ruined by spiders (what? How do SPIDERS ruin something?), mold, and fiberglass when she left the last place. So is all the new stuff also ruined?
Obviously a normal person could wash or even sanitize cookware. I'd accept some of the linens may be ruined by their abysmal care. Furniture, linens, and the like should be sourced when they get there from Goodwill, Salvation Army, Facebook Marketplace, and the other places reasonable people purchase quality used items rather than getting dollarstore colour-coordinated shit from Wal Mart.
Kudos to the Polissa family member who paid for a month's rent in Florida to get them out of Alabama. Money well spent, friend. Just make sure you lock up and move while they're gone.
