a Newsweek article (A) claims a neighbor remembering seeing the family having Trump signs in their yard
A neighbor in Bethel Park, the Pittsburgh suburb where Crooks lived, said they saw pro-Trump signs in the family's yard as recently as a few months ago.

"There absolutely was MAGA-supporting signs for a while," Kelly Little told WTAE-TV.

another neighbor in a CNN article (A) says otherwise
Andrew Bianco, who lives two houses down the street from the Crooks family, agreed that the area was politically diverse, with some residents flying Trump flags and others displaying Biden ones.

But he said he doesn’t remember ever seeing political signage outside the Crooks’ residence, and only saw the gunman’s father when he stepped outside to mow the lawn.

“If anything, you’d be like, ‘Does someone live there?’” Bianco said.

hmmm i'm going to have to go with my gut on this

Video archive won't upload, sadly.

Well, consider the conspiracy theory that maybe Trump was "supposed" to die at that rally.

So all these speeches would be calling for unity, calling to support Nikki Haley, maybe some prayers over what happened, etc etc.

He stood up and pumped his fist because he's an actor, so he sells to the camera.

The longer we live with cameras constantly in our face the more normal this will become.

In twenty years, someone will get shot on the news, and their instant response will be to twerk.

I hate that view (not your writing, but what you’re describing) so much.

If there is anything in this world that would be expected to stand above such small things as our individual lives and tribal conflicts it’s religion. If there is God and there is capital-t Truth then it has to be God and Truth for everybody.

That's the problem. You can't get everybody to agree on one god and truth. Thousands of years of war across the west and near east attest to this.

Racial religions and neopaganism is narcissism. Hundreds of thousands of years, billions of people, thousands of cultures and their all-encompassing philosophy of everything boils down to jerking themselves off to their own tiny slice of it.

Polytheistic religions are universal in a way that holy book religions can't be. All of them, from Germanic and Hellenic traditions to Kemitic and Shinto hold that there are a multitude of divine manifestations that different people have come into contact with. Different groups of people have experienced the divine differently and developed traditions that convey this connection in a way that works best for them. That doesn't make the traditions mutually contradictory or exclusive, so Rome could develop their own interpretations of Greek and Egyptian gods and a Viking who theoretically traveled to Japan could pray to their gods in a temple without offending Odin.

Seems to me it’d be your Great Whvte Church Fathers that are unorthodox, if they’re the ones that came along later.

With this one line the totalizing monotheistic approach fails, because only one church can really have the absolute truth according to Abrahamic thinking. This leads to sects splintering over minor doctrinal differences, hence Christianity and Islam that say they are universal are in practice divided into hundreds of groups claiming infallibility.

The book religions have had a good run but their time is running out, as it has been ever since the printing press was invented. They had their greatest success in a world where 99% of the population was illiterate and never traveled more than a few miles from their birthplace. With easier access to information it's much harder to convince people that there is one book containing the complete, perfect and immutable truth of the universe, which points the way toward a truly universal spirituality that acknowledges many possible experiences of the divine.

The NAACP is bringing out fat assed black women and talking about riding with Biden. That’s pretty based after trying to kill the president. I like the humor of this campaign scenario. It’s a grift off and slut out year of Republicans vs. Dems to see who can pander more.

The government would blame the Iranians, start WW3, and use these events as justification to arrest anyone who points out the truth.
Well, they still have five months. They’ll try again. They’ll also keep trying after he’s elected.

We’re at war right now. It may not look like it but we are. The shots fired at Trump were the first shots of civil war. I hope to god the niggercattle of this nation eventually grow the balls to shoot back.

>i dont know how incompetent even the federal government can be

Wew lad. Occams razor, if the deep state wanted trump dead they wouldnt send a 20 year old snot nosed kid. Even Oswald was ex military. There are no "super secret elite professional BLACK OPS XXXXXL super soldiers". Theyre all just human. They make mistakes, a lot. Even a group like the navy seals fucks up constantly.
In this case, no. Not a chance. Too many things had to happen for the kid to be able to get shots off at President Trump.

Gilead must be made ASAP:

That was a 1:12 roof, one of the most minimal slopes in building.
Her ‘excuse’ is not credible. In fact, her “my dog ate my homework” excuse simply shows that the conspiracy was not planned out properly.

"We need to bury the Trump photo because it's making him look too good."

Example #52,633 of how you think you hate these people enough but you don't.

They’re really harping on the Project 2025 and how Trump wants to kill the niggers. I’ve heard a few Floyds, Tills, and Trayvon Martins. Obama must be telling the niggers that Summer of Love 2 is back on the table. It’s not about political parties it’s about fighting for freedom.
Mom says she'll benefit from Project 2025, lol

They were among 6.7 million people in the swing state of Pennsylvania profiled for their likely ownership of firearms. Both scored highly, with Crook’s father Matthew given particularly high scores.

Data scientists can analyse relatively small original datasets to determine the characteristics that would make someone likely, for example, to be a gun owner. Using machine learning they can generate models that match those characteristics across the population, assigning individuals a likelihood score.

The gun-related profiles which appear in the 2016 Trump campaign database range between 0 – meaning no likelihood – and 1 – a certainty.

Matthew Crooks scored highly across a range of gun-related models including: 0.99 for the likelihood of returning a warranty card for a firearms purchase; 0.95 for the likelihood of pursuing hunting sports; and 0.94 for the likelihood of shopping at the hunting retailer

Overall, averaged across all three of these measures, out of more than 19,000 people in Bethel Park, Matthew Crooks was among the top 20 highest scoring individuals.

A neighbor of Katie Crooks, Thomas’ sister, described her as a “hardworking” woman who juggled two jobs who moved into their apartment building in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, with the help of her brother three years ago.

“The person who helped her, I couldn’t tell if it was a male or a female,” the neighbor told the Post of his initial reaction to Thomas, 20.

“A couple of days later I asked if it was one of her siblings and she said it was her brother. The one who shot Trump… He was real scrawny,” he added.
