40 minutes long but it's a good deep dive into ghost kitchens and how shitty the whole mrbeast burger thing is.
Something something Influencers and social media personalities and shitty products something something.
This gives me the opportunity to sperg about the deal Jimmy made with VDC.
It's always bothered me that Jimmy made this deal and then proceeded to talk shit about it once it wasn't working out. His ego literally can't handle any amount of criticism at all. It doesn't take a genius to realise that having a deal with a ghost kitchen means there won't be much, if any, quality control. Instead, Jimmy tried to handwave the whole experience as a 'bad deal made when he was a young Jimmy'. As if it hadn't only been a couple of years. As if he wasn't a grown ass man with an entire team behind him. Had he done one ounce of looking into how ghost kitchens operate, he'd have seen all the shady ones out there. I know ghost kitchens took off more during covid times, but even before then it was known enough that it shouldn't have been some mega surprise.
And he tries to paint is as "I wAs JuSt TrYinG tO Do SoMe GoOD"
Meanwhile, before the complaints about Beast Burger were really ramping up, Jimmy even went on the first season Gordon Ramsay's Food Stars (awful show) for an episode acting like a mega-business-genius and talking about how well he knows burgers because of MrBeast Burger. LOL.
VDC had also previously partnered with Guy Fieri for 'Flavortown Kitchen'. I heard rumours that Guy had pulled out of the deal with VDC around the same time Jimmy looked to sue VDC to try to get out of his deal with them. Whatever the deal was with Guy, it doesn't seem that it was successful. Guy's website still shows it as one of their brands, but the VDC site no longer has the Flavortown Kitchen logo under their brands and the official website for it seems defunct.
Here is an archive of the lawsuit Jimmy had submitted against VDC. Even the lawsuit filing drips of Jimmy's ego:
"When Joe DiMaggio was asked why he hustled on every play of every game, he
responded that “there is always a kid who may be seeing me for the first time. I owe him my
best.” This encapsulates the philosophy that one of the most accomplished and prolific online
content creators in the world, Jimmy Donaldson - a.k.a. MrBeast- brings to everything he does"
I mean, I don't go out of my way to read a lot of lawsuits but this feels completely unnecessary to include and the use of such a quote is cringe.
VDC responded by counter-suing Jimmy for talking smack. Which I mean, a contract is a contract and it certainly doesn't look professional to talk so much shit about a company you're still legally tied to. If I was a brand looking to work with or sponsor Jimmy I'd be concerned he'd start talking shit if he didn't like the results.
"“This case is about a social media celebrity who believes his fame means that his word does not matter, that the facts do not matter, and that he can renege and breach his contractual obligations without consequence. He is mistaken,” the suit reads." (

As far as I know, the counter-suit has not yet been resolved but other stuff has been coming out due to the lawsuit.
Here [
archive] is a news article about what's been revealed: "Details from Jimmy Donaldson‘s legal battle against Virtual Dining Concepts have revealed some of the creator’s plans for the coming year. One of Donaldson’s court filings reveals that the MrBeast brand plans to expand in 2025 with several new ventures, including a beverage brand and a mobile game."
A shitty mobile game and a beverage brand? Groundbreaking stuff, Jimmy.
I was digging trying to find the source for these court filings but haven't been able to find anything yet. Would love to read.
I know this is the Chris thread, but I also did a search in this thread and I only found people alluding to the MrBeast deal but no full details were given. My bad if someone else had previously already posted something like this.
Also, attaching a pic of a Reddit user unironically calling the Chris burger 'transphobic'.
If Chris knew he was a tranny seven years ago then that's his own fault.
Circling back to Jimmy's massive ego, I just know he's seethed over the Chris shit. He's kinda backed into a corner though with it all. I wonder if there's been anything in the background going on and that's really why Chris has been in so few videos on the main channel recently, and when he is it's like a fraction of a minute of time lol. From previous Reddit screenies posted here, it does sound like even Chris clocked that Jimmy had become a different person through his success. I wonder how close they really were once the channel started to get big. Sounds to me like Jimmy didn't care much about the friendship anymore, even before Chris trooned out.
