Dsp calls himself a variety streamer, but by his logic every gaming streamer is a variety streamer to a degree. I dont know for you guys, but Variety streamer in the context of gaming for me entails that he is willing to play any genre of video games but in recent times and from memory he always sticks with rpg's, shooters and fighting games. Havent seen him play things like music games, rhythm games, rts, card games(unless you count the blackjack mini game in yakuza) etc etc. He might as we call himself mainstream video game streamer cause thats all his bitch ass does. Even when playing something like stardew valley with its literally a chill game to play he looks bored and just wants it to end.

Because (and only because) there’s a gulf between the two and Phil will catastrophize his own life seemingly whether or not he actually stands to benefit from doing so, I petition we try to consistently refer to it as what it actually was: a wellness check.

There’s public video of the whole thing. Two officers showed up with weapons holstered, rang his doorbell and asked him if tout was bon and whether he minded if they just took a walk around. Never was he told to remain in one place. Never was he told to step outside or off his own
property. Never was he detained. It was one step closer to a swatting than a cop arriving to pull a kitten from a tree. Phil was treated precisely how upper-middle class white men are stereotypically treated by American police in stories meant to highlight racial disparities (be they real or otherwise).

Verbiage can be important and it’s not as though we’re professional archivists or documentarians, but. The Dutch hooker thing started and ended here but the first part is the one that everyone knows and the one Phil repeats, and people interested in Phil who go looking to learn about him do tend to wind up here. Maybe there’s some worth in consistency with the truth (when we’re not clearly being assholes).

The only reason he was up on points yesterday was because he one and done'd the players that absolutely cooked his ass, save for maybe one JP.

I fucking love the SF6 arc so much. There is so much ego tied up into this and he just can't help but be a salty baby when things don't go his way. Now that we've gone through all the excuses in the book and supposedly "fixed" them, except for playing on pc, we're back to blaming the netcode again.

Something about @RawPhil being a faceless detractor just waiting for him to go to ranked and a lot of times be his first match of the stream and just demolishing him, getting him to load up early on salt is just so amazingly funny to me, big ups for holding it down man.

His bitch fest when he lost to a much lower player and lost -12 MR was hilarious, considering the only reason he's been able to get up to 1570 (and 1580 now) is because he's gotten a 2-1 set vs a much higher player and netted +20. If he was so good, he'd be able to at least hang around the higher rank with enough 2-1 matches to offset the 1-2.

AND on top of that he's running from much better players, so he really has zero excuses anymore.

I've suffered through enough raw restreams of SF6 to safely confirm he is indeed, a toxic nuclear wasteland at almost all times. Even when he wins he almost always goes into full-blown "sore winner" mode where he insults the player for any number of reasons and calls them pussies, little bitches, scrubs, etc. And heaven forbid they don't rematch him which is the true sign of a retard mouth drooler.

Funny he thinks he's good at the game. he's using a overpowered character from what I have seen. It's basically Cammy for gay men (like Phil). It's like using the French in AOE3 and thinking you're good spamming Cuirassier's. Someone can correct this if I'm wrong since I don't play fighting games.

But remember, "We didn't even hit the tier one tips goal which is ridiculous".

This cope is hilarious too because you can literally just go on Twitch (or I guess Youtube if you wanted) and search SF6 players. The vast majority of them do not act like Phil. Yeah everybody bitches when they are having bad streams, but we can probably count on both hands how many times he didn't bitch about a loss. Heck he bitches when he wins. And you never gain one ounce of knowledge watching him, as he has never adjusted to any of the things he hates, and even if he did he couldn't articulate it.

Also yes Bison is in the top third as of right now. He does a lot of damage on pretty basic combos (most hit strings into Lvl 1 do 3000-3500 damage, which is pretty good for a super that's hard to block) and you don't have the trade-offs of other characters like Akuma (low health) or any of the "rush-down" as Phil calls them characters who do less damage. It's a pain in the ass to try to anti-air Bison because of the variety of the ways he comes down, especially from head stomp. Akuma is the one that seems to always clip Bison on the dragon punch no matter what, but I've whiffed right by people with Cammy. Guile is a bit better but he's Guile.

I recently watched Dirge_Gaming's footage of Phil's Dictator matches, and you'd think the nigga never played SF in his life. He really should hang this shit up. Three versions of the game, and two arcade sticks, and he's not happy. The game pisses him off and it makes no money, so why subject his fans to his shitty fucking gameplay?

Went from "I have an hour and a half" to "I'm out of time" instantly once Phil realized he got baited by chat to "change da build" and he couldn't use what they were feeding him despite him admitting he only wasted 45 minutes. He really made no progress on phase 2 since he spent the first half trying a block strategy and now he has to actually dodge.

Completely and utterly crushed by the blowjob bros Miquella and Radahn. Honestly I expected his cheesey guard counter to win him the day within an hour but I guess the tools wont work if you don't have the talent.

Phil benefits from how easy Bison is to use (spamming the same combos & grabs, plus the ease of hitting that level 1 super) and thinks he's good now. Same things that have been true since Day 1 still work, pressuring him, baiting him into putting himself in the corner, etc. It is hilarious watching him vs a competent Akuma get anti-aired over & over & over & over.

Also when he says "I did stomp and got X" you can see the damn input as a forward/back after the down input, which 100% makes sense giving that he's old and probably can't do a straight down/up consistently anymore.

variety streamer is a significantly outdated term from back when most big streamers were exclusively known for playing like..league of legends or pubg or cs or dota, basically
now there's significantly more streamers who will play whatever game they feel like whenever they feel like, the variety tag really means nothing
