While I fully agree this is fake and gay, the strange thing about Chantal is if she's not obsessed with someone she'll drop them in an instant. It doesn't seem to matter how long they've been in her life or how important they should be to her she seems willing to throw every one away without so much as a tear if it means she gets food or Nadar*.

Salah has never really made Chantal giddy the way she would get when someone she actually had a crush on would call or text her while she livestreamed. Even when she first moved in with him the things she was most excited about seemed to be the fact that she thought she wouldn't have to pay taxes and that she thought 10 kuwait sand bucks was the same as 10 canadian rainbow dollars so everything was so cheap and creamy.

I can't tell if she thinks anyone believes her fake marriage anymore or not) and she specifically hired him to help her change (get me off drugs, make me a muslim housewife, help me lose weight, make me a travel vlogger) even though she hates when he does.
She doesn't want Salah anymore than she wants Peetz; he's convenient to have around but unless someone is actively trying to take him away, she doesn't care if she never sees him again.
