This isn't a money grab for a visa run. She won't get paid for it for another two months.
Call me a sucker, but I'm believing it. Haven't we been saying for months now that things seem to have changed between them? And she did shed some actual tears, or one or two tears anyway, which usually doesn't happen. I think that the fake marriage arc is really coming to an end.
I think a clue lies in an offhand remark she made: "I just can't be married"
We know that, but why, exactly? What makes her come to this conclusion? I don't think it is anything Salah did because she'd be raging if he had pulled another Kaibella or something. She says she is feeling sorry for herself, which implies that whatever it is, it is beyond her control. It isn't a hasty decision, she says. It is something "going back". She also claims to have told her family (who are gonna have to put her up). Another comment she made was "I'm not married, so there's nothing for me here"
Usually when she is faking something, she fails to keep consistency of mood throughout a live. She'll act maudlin, but then she'll get distracted by someone mentioning a horror movie or something, and start laughing and talking loudly. She did manage to sound morose through the whole thing this time, and I had to keep the volume turned up all the way for the duration of the stream.
Regarding the Kia, she says "Technically, I sold it" and "The Kia is no longer in my possession". That is strange diction. It implies she didn't sell it, but "technically" it counts as a sale. That makes it sound like a repo. She said she didn't get much from it, that the whole front end was off. "I hit a monster beaver, remember?" (Note: how could they remember, Clotso? These beezers weren't around back then. If they had been, they would have reminded you that you said you hit a bobcat, not a monster beaver...) Later she says she didn't sell it to just anyone, but to someone she knows. (Does she actually know anyone?) She does seem worried about money though, and says she'll be starting from scratch with nothing. I'd be worried too, if I were her. She has no plan; she's talking about living in a hotel and renting a car, but that should eat through her money in about a month. It would be funny though if she winds up in a Motel Six, since she always accuses the soon-to-be-home-owner FFG of living in one.
Her beezers were in especially dumb form throughout, incidentally. One even asks to be her roommate. Some are encouraging her to convert a van to live in (which is what I would do if I were facing homelessness, but which is well beyond her means or intelligence)
Sometimes I wish she wasn't such a chronic liar who can never be believed even about the simplest matters. It sure would be nice to hear something from her that makes sense and is believable instead of having to try to piece together retarded clues.
I also think she doesn't have much longer to live. It's not like going home is going to help her get her life in order.
At any rate, if this is finally the fucking end of Kuwait, it could not have come too soon. Adios, Scatman.
