If they make DEI "everyone's job" that's a good way to make sure it doesn't get done. When tech companies have policies like "writing documentation is everyone's job" it often results in everyone shirking and barely any docs being produced. Especially when "DEI" has vague criteria for effectiveness. MS was also saying they'd use external consultants, which means they're no longer committed to a given amount of DEI work the way they would be if it were done by an internal team. They could quickly taper down the consultants' services to one webinar a year. When a business tells you their commitment to something is unwavering that doesn't necessarily make it true, would you believe that about a refund policy?

This isn't for certain and they could end up continuing a lot of the social justice commisar work, but these are the kinds of CYA moves you often see when a company is planning to change their strategy.

The gunman, who officials said was killed by Secret Service personnel, fired multiple shots at the stage from an “elevated position outside of the rally venue,” the agency said. Trump was bloodied and says he was 'shot with a bullet that pierced the upper part of my right ear.'

A spectator was killed and two men were critically injured.

An Associated Press analysis of more than a dozen videos and photos taken at the Trump rally, as well as satellite imagery of the site, shows the shooter was able to get astonishingly close to the stage where the former president was speaking.

The roof was fewer than 164 yards from where Trump was speaking. Biden has directed an independent review of the security at the rally.

a random 20 year old acting completely alone walked within 150 yards of a presidential campaign rally with a rifle, climbed onto a rooftop in full view of Secret Service snipers, set up his shot and fired without anyone intervening and with no help from anyone.

This 20 year old is also so politically radical as to attempt an assassination and yet not radical enough to have ever posted any political writings or commentary on any social media site ever in his life.

He also wrote no manifesto and left behind no indication about why he did it.

His last and only political act, before attempting to kill the Republican candidate, was to register as a Republican.

You must believe this and ask no questions about it or else you are a conspiracy theorist.

And one thing we know about assassination attempts is that there’s never any conspiring involved.
