Proabably because it's more due to a techincal issue rather than a "pendulum swinging back" moment. (EDIT: Though the fact that the bot just "fucked up" and banned mainly lots of heinous NSFW subsites is strange, I wonder if they were "testing" something).

That said, if the pendulum is indeed swinging back, then the people with the money will eventually start asking websites like Reddit to get rid of the heinous NSFW subsites. Even if Reddit is tranny central, they are not the ones with the money who make the decisions.

I think it's theoretically easier to detrans than get off hard opioids like fentanyl but the former has cultists that will support you every step of the way. Recovery rates are stupidly low for things like fentanyl and that's with society actively encouraging rehab.

I unfortunately knew someone who developed an amerimutt opioid problem and trooned out at the same time. They were reduced to a complete appetitive shell of a human being. I've wondered since how the opioids troons have to be put on after surgery plays into their behavior and dulling feelings of regret. Though in the above case said person actually went for the Fentanyl first, and of course, a totally licensed and ethical trans affirming provider basically gave sterilizing drugs to a mentally ill gay kid struggling with addiction.

It can be more pernicious than that situation. If an addict attempts to achieve sobriety, they typically fail if they fail to find a new social circle, such as a recovery community. Addicts will often pull each other back into addiction. But dare approach the heterodoxy of detransing and it’s over. The recovering addict has a community either way, in sobriety or addiction. The detranser has nobody but other detransers, really - they’ve been expelled from the gender cult, and the wider world has no interest in accepting these physiognomic distortions back into the fold.

Edit: it’s even worse than that. Besides other detransers, the only others who seem to welcome them are conservative grifters and hucksters, whose compassion only extends as far as the detranser’s usefulness. No matter what state they are in, trans or detrans, they serve as the plotting ideologue’s pawn. Addicts have a bit more agency over their personal narrative, I think.
