Sorry if answered, but seeing that he had a remote detonator of some kind, I thought about how to do it and the easiest thing I could think of was those wireless plugs they sell for lamps. The one I have has six buttons, on and off for three individual wireless plugs. They're super cheap but I don't know what the range is on them. He could have had one plugged in to an inverter from the lighter outlet in the car. I don't know what the range would be, but I assume it's just low frequency RF (presumably 2.4ghz since it's basically unregulated but maybe even 800mhz, lower frequency=longer range/better penetration through walls etc)
For a longer range detonator back at his house, he could have done the same thing, just instead of the radio remote and corresponding plug he had one of those wifi smart plugs, triggered via the app in his phone.
This feels super fed-posty but I mostly just wanted to share my thoughts on the remote he had lol

I seriously don't know how they can pull off a candidate switch this close to the Democrat National Convention and this close to the election in general.
They aren't even prepping the general populace for Kamala. She's been MIA for weeks now. She's pretty much disappeared since the debate. If there were plans for anybody to replace Biden, then they missed the window of opportunity for them to let another Democrat candidate shine.
I feel like if they had an actual plan to replace Biden, then they'd push some potential candidate to the limelight to generate at least some hype, but that hasn't happened whatsoever. And with Newsom's latest extreme policy in California, I highly doubt there are any plans for him to run this time around.
My gut is telling me that this whole "Biden has covid" thing is a coverup to (a) hide the fact that the Dems are in panic mode and in-fighting mode right now, and (b) to put the old man back in the basement because they know the Dem campaign bid for President is all but done at this point and they don't want him ruining things for the candidates on the down ballot. EDIT: There's also the very real possibility of (c) The Biden family is using covid to hold out until the Convention for the nomination, lol.
The only decent-ish news the Democrats have at this point is that they still have a good chance of taking back the House. They still have something to gain in November. Best thing they can do to salvage that chance is to distance the Biden Administration from the Democrats running for Congress.

I don't think Biden is going to drop out. I think Jill Biden is having her commodus moment.
Biden has had no agency for a while and everything in his administration makes more sense if you think of it with the frame of mind that Jill is in charge and is taking revenge on Biden and the democrats for enabling him.
Biden literally touches kids on live tv and showers with his granddaughter, god knows what he's done to her behind closed doors.

what is 538's agenda? Are they just trying to get democrat clicks, or is there some other motivation behind this? because nothing in the polling suggests any kind of shift towards biden and they have been moving that way for the last few days

Wouldn't the easiest way to do such a thing be with using a dumb phone and calling it to trigger the bomb? Like they did in Iraq?
Still really weird. Not enough commentary and investigation being done on the bomb angle, not even to explain that he had it around. What sort of bomb was it? What was he even planning with it?
