Very true. I have a very long running streak of not stalking women. But maybe I'm just unnaturally good at this whole not stalking thing. I mean, hell, he has three restraining orders against him, so he must be an expert on the difficulties of non stalkery of women.

I don't think there's any Greere County Conspiracy in the courts against kiwifarms.

The case was dismissed with prejudice on all counts before, showing the Utah courts are in fact willing to give Russell an L. The case only took as long as it did to get dismissed because suing a website for libel/copyright infringement isn't as batshit crazy as suing female celebrities or hookers. I think it only lasted about as long as his America's Got Talent lolsuit before first Utah Judge dismissed.

The only reason it lasted after that was because of winning the appeal, the only reason he won the appeal was because he had actual lawyers representing him, combined with Judges not understanding technology (google drive posted on kiwifarms) and the advantage that Skordas literally didn't get any sleep the night before because his plane was delayed so he had to go straight from airport to court jetlagged.

The only reason the case has continued so long after that is simply because Judge Jared C. Bennett can't say "this is bullshit" and throw it out because a higher court decided it isn't bullshit, the rest is just shenanigans with Florida not wanting the lolsuit either.

When it comes down to it, I don't think the Judges have been biased in favor of Russell, he's already lost this case, the Judges have just been forced to humor him, and he will lose again as soon as they have an appeals proof excuse like failure to prosecute, like if he didn't turn in responses to motions after a three week deadline for a total of six months extension

even a dismissal w\out prejudice might end up being as good as with prejudice. The statute of limitations for copyright (the only actual grounds) is 3 years and doesn't get paused during litigation irrc (with regard to the litigation ending)

I agree it makes winning the next lawsuit easier and it is a nice reprieve, but it isn't the end. It provides a level of certainty to know that something is over and you can do other things.

#17-ADVISORY QUESTION TO LEGALIZE BROTHELS This item concerned a request from Russell Greer to place an advisory question on the November ballot as to whether or not Lincoln County should legalize brothels after 46 years since the 1978 vote to abolish brothels here. Russell Greer was present via telephone; he addressed the Board. Russell runs the organization call A Safer Nevada; the purpose of which is to expand brothel legalization. He has been working to try and bring legalized brothels in LC. Russell has had a lot of support. He filed a petition in March, but was unable to obtain enough signatures due to a myriad of personal tragedies. He wasn’t able to get a measure on the ballot so he is asking the Board to place an advisory question on the November ballot. Posing the question to the populace would allow everyone to see where this issue stands in this county. Lyon County did a similar measure in 2010 and he doesn’t see why LC wouldn’t do something similar. DA Dylan Frehner advised statute allows the Board to ask an advisory question on pretty much any topic and it is non-binding. The advisory question really doesn’t do anything beyond taking a poll of the community. Today is the deadline for the submission of the advisory question. Keith is opposed to this. Janine referred to the timing for getting this on the ballot and the extra expenses placed on county entities. Diane agreed. Mike has spoken to a good many people in the community; the majority have been opposed. Only a couple of people were in favor. Janine commented the morality of the issue belongs to the individual of running the business. It is too late to get this question on the ballot. Keith advised his survey was much like Mike’s; people are against it. Diane made a motion to deny placing an advisory question on the November ballot to have the voters vote on whether or not LC should re-legalize brothels in the county; seconded by Janine. Varlin was absent for this item. Motion carried 4-0.

Everyone knows the funniest outcome is Null giving up on the court system and using the legal fund to hire darkweb crips to beat the shit out of Russel Greer but Utah's so white the crips turn out to be juggalos and they dress in actual clown outfits when they beat the shit out of him and their clown shoes honk with every kick and then they c-walk away in their clown shoes when they're done.
