Well, he doesn't understand how much death and destruction bravery led to in the war. He doesn't understand what war is, because he believes a history full of bullshit about how glorious it is. He doesn't know that America isn't a "brave nation" by its design, it's culturally unique in that Americans will negotiate objectively while most countries will only negotiate when they lose.

How is it the beatniks say it? Make love, not war? If he wants to understand the difference between the two, he should get on his knees and gnosh away.
I mean I'm not sucking anyone's dick, my eyes closed or not

Sad to hear that Lou Dobbs died, he was one of the only people on TV actually talking about immigration for years besides Pat Buchanan
In my liberteen/neocon days I used to hate him but now I see he and Lee iacocca were correct about the future.
This Gretchen Whitmer? "86 45 Gretchen Whitmer"? Not after last Saturday.

She'll wait.
I mean she's perfect the whole hog January 6th narrative won't die with the dnc. They need it to continue. It's a threat to our democracy and etc... Whitmer can replace Biden as being too weak and say I was attacked by maga with her kidnapping. (Yes we know it's bogus, but she's playing to the msnbc wine moms and queers.) It won't be a victory but she can salvage the DNCs cringe fringe under her banner with we must stop drumpflr.
The narrative the left is spinning is January 6th was a super insurrection and we need to declare war on the right. While the establishment wants to dial this back for the American empire because they have Russia and China to worry about the polarization might be quite frankly far too much to deal with. The best they could do is have Whitmer play the super resistance candidate and over the next few months tone her down to seem respectable and Trump up Trump's J6th base. They will use J6th as a dark day in American history narrative.

The next question becomes where do you draw the line at someone whose culturally "American" versus not? There are folks in the Rio Grande Valley who've been there before Texas went and seceded from Mexico who still don't speak English. There's third or fourth generation Chinese descent folks who don't speak a lick of Chinese and haven't known anything but the US. So on and so forth. If you carve out an exception everyone will just rush to get anchor babies and then game the system.
This is a similar talking point that came up when the question of deporting emancipated Black slaves came up in the 1800s. Some former slaves had family that had been in the country for generations at this point and there wasn't enough political will to deport 4 million newly freed people.

If you wanted to deport all the illegals in the USA you are dealing with at least 10 million minimum. The process could theoretically be done but it can't be half-hearted and must go all the way.

The Dem rank and file are dejected, but they aren't the same group as the hardcore woke activist corps. The latter group may be all the more emboldened by the weakness of the former, along with being desperate as they sense their moment slipping away with the start of a second Trump term.

meh the Proggies don't really have the money or the power to take over.

Sure they're loud as fuck on social media but without the backing of the elites and more importantly the constant fluffing by the MSM they ain't shit. They are tools of the elites noting more, you'll see soon. Once they no longer have a purpose they'll be dropped like a rock.

Their ideas would self-destruct withing the first few days just trying to settle on a candidate let alone a platform.

NGL...I would love to see it but that ain't happening.
