To me they’re halfway thru the 5 stages of Grief. First it was Denial, “Biden is fine. Trump is just as old and slow as Joe.” Then they had anger of course and now they’re in Bargaining. The dream is just make a new ticket and whoever the Democrats launch will just BTFO Drumpf!

They’re desperate and delusional. Expecting a last minute campaign change is huge. They fail to realize that Kamala Harris is not a recognizable name, the normie masses don’t pay attention as well as they think they do. They also feel vindicated that because Trump’s RNC speech didn’t impress them it didn’t impress anyone. But they’re biased against Trump from the outset they’re liberals.
