2) Democrat party leadership doesn’t know what an open convention means. There are different major players - both donors and legislators - conflicting with each other on how an open convention would work. She said that the lawyers and legislators who should know the legal protocols for an open convention are admitting they don’t even know how it would work.

I'm not surprised, they haven't done one in so long, probably nobody in power has ever experienced one. After 1968 the Democrats redid their rules specifically to avoid having it happen again, I guess they've never tested the rules to see if they hold. And I really doubt, in the era of obsessive party unity, they thought to make rules for forcing a nominee into a fight.

But it does show just how badly party politics have degenerated. The entire point of an American political party is to organize and channel the democratic process for its members. If nothing else, the one thing they should be good at is processing nominations, managing state ballot laws, and having backup plans for all of it. I also doubt the Republicans would be in much better shape in a similar situation (say, a certain bullet going a quarter inch to the right), though their nomination rules do seem to be more straightforward and flexible.

It's wild the same people that made a martyr out of a man who robbed and pointed a gun at a pregnant woman's stomach, ate all the fentynol after trying to pass a counterfeit 20, mock a fire fight who died protecting his family. Morally bankrupt.
Liberals defend horrible people on the red herring of them being "different". And the worse someone behaves, the more liberals like them. They like having shock troops whose behavior they can rationalize by calling their victims bigots.

If there's anything I've learned over the past 4-8 years (and especially during my time on KF), it's that no individual or group is hated just because they are "different".

Humans are generally conflict-averse, and don't usually go out of their way to persecute other people who are minding their own business for no reason. Hatred is provoked by being wronged or slighted.

I'd archive it (if I'm not just late) but I've never figured out how to archive videos. Fox News is covering that other MSM are trying to paint the narrative that Trump having a long speech (apparently the longest of any political convention?) is bad. One person on MSNBC compared him to Fidel Castro which is...a choice.

Regardless they're clearly trying to warm up to "It's actually good that Biden can't do more than a 10 minute speech" to deal with Trump's marathon speech.

Considering that the viewership of Trump's speech remained steady (at least it did on X/Twitter) even past midnight tells me that he captured the attention of millions of people for the entirety of the speech.

The media knows that Joe is cooked after this convention. Joe can't even get through 5 minutes without being a gaffe machine.

And given his recent comments, like referring to the Secretary of Defense as "The Black Guy" and his "I know what a black job is! It's the Vice President of the United States!" quote, Joey Boy is a few slurred sentences away from actually dropping some slurs. lol.

Say it with me: the democrap party is, was and always will be, first and foremost, a CULT. Since 2008 it's been a cult of personality, a literal American version of the Korean "Workers" Party, with Baraka Hussein Abu Oumama as it's own version of "Eternal President" Kim Il-Sung. It's entire platform is, to its acolytes, a creed to which they are more fanatically devoted than any would-be christian neo-crusader or moohamadan fundamentalist. All they are interested in is power and the destruction of everything that isn't in lock step with the adoration and elevation of abortion, pedofaggotry, troon freakishness and everything ugly. And if they can't have this world they will do their absolute best to destroy it.

Yes or rental cars. But then again, for what reason would they have to come through here? Since we supposedly don't have anything cool or worth seeing?

But I don't understand the negative reaction to what I said. It's not like I'd actually do anything and I would hope people here won't pretend they don't think the same damn things all the time.
Brother trust me I feel it. You see there cars here in Utah all the time. Just here they ARE buying up the extremely limited number of houses with the millions they got for their crack shack. It's fucking sick. I'm glad the Republicans though said they were going to open up some federal land for expansion. If we can't get rid of them, at least we won't be packed in like sardines

The entire nominating system is designed specifically to avoid open convention fiascos after the 1968 debacle.

Unironically, I am sure wherever you live has places that are cool and worth seeing.

It's a good thing the dems saved him from being impeached. Wonder if they still think that, he would've avoided total ruin and just lost his job then.
None of the Regime's toadies ever face accountability.

If Biden (Jill) had any integrity, they'd have punished Mark Milley for the Afghanistan disaster by covering him in pitch, setting him on fire, and throwing him in the Grand Canyon.
