The AR is good to go at 150 yards, but to put this into perspective the guy was an idiot for not having an optic because at that range trump through irons would look like a tiny man. 150 yards is a football field and then some. its about 30 feet more than a regulation soccer/footy field.

How would a two inch shift in elevation save his life if the shooters elevation was correct? It was the windage that was wrong. I don't think he was aiming center mass either.

I strongly believe the first shot is what hit him because of Trump's reaction/reaching for his ear. It's much less believable that he missed the first shot but had a "hit" on a rushed follow up shot.

Little bit of sperging, It used to be SOP to train to shoot out to 100, 200 and 300 yards with iron sights before optics were a thing and there are many people who can shoot much further. He was interrupted by a cop climbing up a ladder behind him, pointed his weapon at the cop, the cop dropped down then then he quickly took his shot and still hit Trump in the head. Sights really weren't an issue, it was mostly luck that he was interrupted and forced to rush his shots and even then if Trump hadn't of turned his head to look at the projector screen he would've been missing the back of his skull.
