This is a great way to phrase it. I won't sperg about my personal views on abortion, but realpolitik is that abortion is the states' purview, and making it a part of the platform of the national party is a no-win. This is also why, as Trump said in the rally today, that the MAGA Party is for all races, all creeds, all colors, and all religions, as long as you love America and uphold its values.

I dunno I think the next PotUS will have to be a Caesar. There is so much that needs to be done but nothing can be done as long as the unelected Democratic bureaucrats are embedded deeper in the US Gov then a Alabama wood tick.

Trump will probably get very little done. The courts will hold him up just like last time. The drones in the bureaucracy will do everything up to lying to him to make sure nothing changes, who remembers Syria? And chances are he will only have 2 years as once the midterms roll around the GoP will lose either the house or the senate as is customary.

You can't build a house when you have termites in the wall, rats in the basement and raccoons in the attic. It will take someone whose pretty much a dictator to unseat the scum and rebuild the foundations. Imagine trying to take on the CIA and FBI with 75% of the government apparatus doing everything upto and including treason to stop you.

I just pray we get a benevolent dictator like Cincinnatus who will step down once his job is done but brother...I don't like the odds of that.

It's amazing isn't it? Bush I reluctantly left Saddam in power and took an insane amount of grief over it because he knew Iraq would devolve into the unstable hellscape it has after his son did take him out it.

I don't know much about Grenada but family who were in the military at the time have always said the US just needed an excuse to give out medals and practical experience to the next generation of military brass after the Vietnam-era people had all retired. I totally believe that.

I'm busy at work today and the highlight posts don't really explain it well for me but why is Project 2025 bad again? I thought it's supposed to be heckin' based by banning abortions federally or whatever. That's the only part libtards keep talking about regarding Project 2025 lol literally just "ZOMG! ITS GONNA BAN ABORTIONS!" but that's it?

It's a nebulous set of ideas and whatnot, the left is just tossing stupid shit on the wall and claiming "project 2025 is LITERALLY trans genocide" type shit to scare the base.

But it betrays something important -- the big thing that they're ACTUALLY pissed about that 2025 has in it is:

• The GOP should start working on grassroots low level politics and preparing the next generation to build a bigger base
• Organization is great, we should start doing that instead of all pretending we're temporarily inconvenienced Tuckers or Trumps
• "Here's all the gears of the government machine and how the left has corrupted them over the past 100 years, here's how we should fix them." (i.e., "here's how power and government actually work and here's how we can make them work for us")

These are things the Uniparty has spent a LOT of time energy and money making damned sure the right doesn't do but the left does, which is why they're very very much not a plan of the right suddenly realizing it's an option.

Trump's energy for his Agenda 47 gives off a lot of Cincinnatus energy. "Dictator for a single day" to push a load of EOs and fix a lot of rot.

It also helps he can not worry about re-election anymore. He has broken the RNC into bowing to him, the anti-Trump people are going the way of the Dodo. The 2026 midterms is where we will really see if he can push full power.

The part of me that's a cynical prick is thinking that if there truly was a conspiracy, that the various media companies could smell the ratings spikes they'd get from having that particular Live Footage. The various networks are so chock full of True Believer types that wouldn't show Trump otherwise that it wouldn't make sense beyond boosting failing ratings - showing the entire country that Cheetoh Hitler was dead to demoralize people would be a bonus.

Is this true? It rings true but I don't actually know. I don't watch or keep track of those outlets. If true it is very suspicious but I assume one can argue it's a rally before the convention, so the likelihood of them covering it increases.

Definitely something in the column for things that don't add up and look suspicious.

If it was a conspiracy to kill Trump, or likely kill him. I have to assume there'd just be a, "you really should cover this rally" backroom suggestion. Not that the networks would be in on it.

Trump just surviving by the thinnest of margins and random chance means the fallout should be exactly the same as if he was killed. It was a failure on the level of him being killed. Him moving his head randomly at the last second doesn't make the failure any less.
