Same way anyone gets razor bumps, I'd reckon. Psuedofolliculitis barbae. Dullish razors can be a factor, and also some hair types are more prone, or sensitive skin, or whatever.

But head bumps after a cut/shave/clip are common, particularly with hair that has a natural curl to it.
