Interesting how the decision was made last week. It's almost as if they let the shooter try to kill Trump, and now they need to change plans since that failed, although I suppose one could argue it was unplanned and they're just responding to it.

All they literally had to do was let Trump win 2020, so he'd be unable to run again. Then, find a centrist candidate that would work for the interests of the working man. A RINO could've won 2024, then they could've had their Obama moment again as a party. Nope, their pride was their downfall at the expense of everybody else.

All of this could've been so avoidable.

I think they fucked themselves more than just that. Now Trump has four year of POTUS experience and four separate years of rebuilding the GOP and court rulings from his judges going into his 2nd term. For example if they had let him win 2020 he would've of only had a year of chevron being overturned.

I think they would have a better chance to win if they nominate someone likable, who cools the rhetoric down and looks very calm and reasonable next to Trump.
If Trump has such an opponent, his attacks would be less effective.

While the Biden stuff is provable lies, the other Democrats' statements are within the realm of fact. in other news, I'd advise everyone to take a look at the betting market not for election odds but to watch people lose money.
