Oh no, it's MUCH funnier than that. They want all the publicity. They're mad jealous about how much coverage and views the RNC speeches got. They're sure that if the DNC is a horse race everyone will tune in. They're probably right about that.

They also think people will be pleased by what they see and go Dem in November. I rate that assumption optimistic.
Kamala is married to a Jew. The "Free Palestine" faction of the party is going to be unhappy at the convention, to say the least.

Trump is a retard if he doesn’t mention this over and over. This is the most hilarious and cringe thing I’ve ever seen. She had to hire child actors to go with her to NASA because apparently a bunch of democrat donors children weren’t reliable enough. I’m so happy Kamala is the nominee: she is like the biggest lolcow politician there is.

I suspect the powers that be have decided Trump is less of a threat than the Democrats at this point. Still it'll be interesting to see how the Democrat Convention actually plays out. Will be 1968 Part II: Now With Even Worse Music or will they all unite behind Kamala which is probably the least bad option they have. Also will November be fortified or will they just sit back and let Trump win?

Ukraine is going to be very simple. Trump is going to call Putin, tell him the war ends or nukes start popping off. Unlike Biden, Putin knows Trump means it. After that, you'll have a ceasefire within a week.
You don't even have to go that far. Just tell Ukraine to cede it's right to Crimea (they haven't owned it for almost a decade anyway), and disallow them from becoming a NATO member.
If you have to, let Zelensky become an expat in the U.S. after he finishes being President of Ukraine. Have a little bravado and this would wrap things up neatly (except for the tons of dead Ukrainian and Russians who died for literally nothing).

Putting Kamala in a President would be the worst thing you could do if you wanted her to get elected in November.
Four months is both an eternity and nothing in presidential years. It's an eternity of time in that there are tons of chances for you to fuck up or something that's been cooking to blow up in your face, but no time to actually do anything you can campaign on. Kamala has also been kept in the back for all of Joe's presidency due to the fact she's so unlikable. The problem is this gives her no grand achievements that she can point to as VP. It would be very difficult to even manufacture a former achievement at this point.

Kamala already has next to nil chance of winning the Presidency under these conditions, but putting her in office, unless you've got some grand plan, would make it essentially impossible to win, even with massive fraud.
Theory:

Biden endorsing her, but refusing to actually make use of the 25th to make her the ackshul President, fatally damages her before DNC.

He says he thinks she's ready to be President... but he won't make her President. Shit or get off the pot, Joe.

The DNC don't have the balls to knife an incumbent President in the face. A Vice President though? A VP ain't shit.

There will be a anti-Kamala nomination at the DNC and the anti-Kamala candidates will win the nomination.
