Ok, so I have a theory that ties into the attempt on Trump's life. One way to guess at who did it is to apply the cui bono principle in reverse. Whose fortunes have reversed the most dramatically since the attack on Trump failed?
The Biden family, without a doubt. For a moment after 7/13 it appeared that the people pushing Joe to drop out had run out of steam, but then they came back with a vengeance, with even Obama pushing him to quit. It appears that the Bidens are now totally isolated and bereft of allies. They were already under a lot of pressure before and following the debate it was hard to see how Biden could beat Trump.
Wouldn't it make sense for them to make a last desperate attempt to eliminate their opponent? If Trump was dead the GOP insiders would have been happy to crown Nikki Haley as the nominee and Joe's path to victory would be much wider. The Dems as a whole could have regrouped after a Trump win but for the Bidens it would mean the end of their political power and possibly vengeance from Trump. They had the strongest motivation to stop him by any possible means.
If this is true, I'd expect that the family is being physically compelled to give up power. I wouldn't be surprised if their social media accounts have been seized by the DNC and are being used to send the concessions. They may be effectively under house arrest and unable to contact staffers. Musk mentioned that he was told about Biden's impending dropout last weekend - when Trump was shot.
Could this be true? Future events that support this theory would be the disappearance or near-disappearance of Biden and his family members. Joe may be reported dead immediately after the election and Jill and Hunter may never be seen again. If they burned every favor they had to call a hit on Trump and failed, they've just done grave damage to the Dems in an attempt to preserve their own power. The DNC will not forgive this.

Having seen how big of a bump Trump got from nearly being martyred, I have a notion that the folks who orchestrated this aren't done yet, and will soon turn what is a massive liability into a sympathy bump in the polls. "Poor Joe worked himself to death trying to save America from Trump!" is much better than a demented zombie wandering around the White House while Kamala is running.

This is exactly the case. They would never force Biden out this late unless it was the case. No one has any chance of victory in a fair election if they start campaigning 2 months before the election vs a previous incumbent who was well loved and just survived an assassination attempt. Even if you pulled star power with Tom Cruise or whoever the kids love right now he wouldn't likely be able to pull it off on short notice. Thus, swapping out the candidate is a complete waste unless they're planning to make a cheat look convincing.
Thus: They're planning to cheat their nominee in. Until the assassination attempt they thought they could skate by with Joe's incumbent bonus, but after the debate+assassination failure 1-2 combo, their inner pollsters clearly determined it would not be believable to the US people.
The DNC sets up their primaries in such a way that you rarely get much choice to begin with, really.
I have absolutely no interest in what these people think of their nominee when they will without question or exception vote for anyone that has the letter D next to their names, because they literally cannot comprehend that a person can be anything more than their party.
That is their exact plan, I'm sure. It's why I wanted Joe to hold out as long as possible. With four months and the current VP, most of America can be convinced that "we just voted for the first colored woman as president" could win out over all of Trump's points. Realistically that's nowhere near enough time, but people have a short memory and are bad at math, and so will believe it if it happens.
This isn't a surprise. Dems as a party have an obsessive cult-like devotion to "vote blue no matter who" so whoever is nominee will always automatically get 90% of the party's vote. You will see them absolutely eviscerate a candidate like they're talking about Trump, but the moment that candidate gets picked they go silent and agree to vote.
I was under the impression these people were trans and freaking out that Trump was going to care what they do to their own bodies. Ruining your body to protest a lack of abortion access is another level of crazy.
No, the only way Trump wins is if one or more of the people who claim they will not allow another cheat to happen actually do something effective to stop it. That's how it has always been. When Joe failed the debate and Trump survived an assassination attempt the needle moved so far in Trump's favor there was a chance they wouldn't risk the cheat, but now they absolutely, unequivocally will.
I don't understand how Elon has adjusted so much but not the trending method on Twitter. It's so pathetically easy to manufacture trends on Twitter that "Ron Toye" was trending for 12 hours during last election because 100k people were watching a livestream about him. Trends are so useless that even if you for some reason still use Twitter you should turn off the trending tab rather than waste your processing power displaying it.

I myself feel that we just witnessed another coup by the Dems and should just be glad they didn't pull another JFK that would have galvanized their base. I think the civil war within the party that we have talked about on here is finally spilling out into public view and the Obama and Clinton factions are out for blood against one another. The fact that Hillary is seemingly endorsing this is the weird part since you'd think she would be hellbent on being the first Madame President, she must have something cooked up. Watch and see though, they will have Kamala pardon Hunter and excuse any of Joe's bullshit a la Nixon/Ford. But it will be (D)ifferent and a good thing this time.
