But in my area, if its a welfare check then the police can not do anything besides " Are you ok " and if the person is not in a mental episode then they cant do anything. But because the Dispatcher logs say " Suicide Threat " then that means they got a call and its been reported that someone made a suicide threat and immediate police / mental health response is warranted. Depending on the 911 call, ** Personal Experience talking with my brother who is mentally ill ** the police will ether roll up in force if someone is also in danger or they will have a mental health person prob from a place like CSO ** Clinical support Options ** which handle all things of selfharm with the police and boogie would be evaluated on the spot, by a medical team and would be depending on how he is acting sedated an taken to the hospital for a in my area its called a section 35 which holds you in a mental health ward of a hospital for 72 hours.
