In fairness, it wasn't revealed until 50 years after his death. Perhaps, if it had come out in the 40s, it might have had more impact on the national psyche; the revelation might have further damaged the monarchy, which was already fragile after the abdication of Edward VII. As it stands, it was already ancient history in 1986. Very few people were alive at the time who had also lived during George V's reign.

Exactly. And there are definitely roles for women within the USSS. I know some exceptionally smart, organized, detail-oriented women who would be a boon to the Secret Service in support or investigatory roles or even working in the department everyone tends to forget about: running down counterfeiting rings and other types of currency-related forensics. To say nothing of the office/HR type jobs requiring the soft skills women are usually better at.

As a woman myself, give me a good desk forensics mystery to crack any day.

Biden is old, and has dementia at a minimum. Old people with dementia die naturally all the time. The DEI Aspect isn't incompetence. It's intentional malice. I don't think you understand why DEI is pushed so hard. A lot and I do mean a LOT of people in D.C. consider the Constitution to be a outdated and bothersome piece of paper. Most of them have no real idea what it is and how it works.

They really do not think like you or me. They are concerned about power alone and all else is secondary, ends justify the means end of history shit. They would hide Biden's death as long as they could simply because they want to game polls and legislation without any understanding of why this is bad and how horrendous a precedent it sets and how much it violates the 25th.

Biden being dead or nearly dead would also raise a lot of questions about his entire term in office and it all goes back to the 2020 fraud the Dems and Never Trump RINOs committed to stop Trump from having his 2nd term. Those questions make the ones that committed the actual fraud very uncomfortable.

Those who wanted to see Trump's medical report from the shooting are awfully quiet about the lack of transparency with Biden.

They're the same people that dismissed Biden's age but are now "concerned" about Trump being old. The issue was never age exactly because life expectancy has gone up over time as medical care gets better and both Joe and Trump have had access to some of the best medical care money can provide.

The issue was Biden suffering from dementia and brain damage from that aneurysm he had years ago, both of which were clearly hampering him, no amount of medical care can reverse something like Alzheimer's. Trump isn't a spring chicken, but his mind appears sharp as ever.
