Lots of vtubers and anime encourage degenerate, filthy lifestyles, and the weeb community is only recently beginning to reckon with that.

On one hand, that reckoning is deserved. The anime community is a breeding ground for trannies, pedos, and incels, and its earned the pressure it gets from the mainstream. The cunny "jokes" are bad, but they're actually a step up from the way things used to be. Digibro faced absolutely zero pushback from the anime community after his appearance on the Dick Show all those years ago. The pushback that he received here and on a handful of commentary community channels was very limited in its scope and never really effected his popularity, mainly because his views were accepted within the community as kooky but harmless.
