So, what do you guys think of that last fit?
Do you think it was all staged and the side look was a signal to his roommate that bit is over?
Or was it a legit panic attack and the side eye was him letting them know that is was too much and that he was in danger of stroking out?
Nah he was definitely signaling with his eyes. He was sperging out because he wanted the stream to end. As someone with first hand experience of a real panic attack, you can't just sit there quietly. The only thing you can really focus on, is trying to get your breathing under control to avoid passing out. Tbf sometimes talking with someone can help, because it makes you subconsciously fall into a more steady breathing rhythm, but it doesn't help if its bad. For anyone curios about what you experience during a serious panic attack it's something like this:
You feel clammy, and cold at the same time from sweat.
Your hands are especially soaked with sweat.
Your heart is pounding and a deep feeling of fear/dread washes over you and sits in your stomach.
You begin to feel light headed, then dizzy. You need to sit down.
You see glimpses of bright floaters that dart across your sight.
If you're getting close to passing out you'll maybe hear some ringing before the volume of the world gradually gets turned down as your peripheral vision starts to shrink.
Oh and you're of course constantly breathing quick, shallow breaths.
Now with some experience and methods you can learn to identify when one is coming, and get the breathing under control by sitting down and focusing on it, however you'll still feel really bad until you get it under control.
