And that's precisely why people like watch him. He's the embodiment of a "background audio" YouTuber. He's not meant to be something innovative or big. Critikal himself doesn't see that. It's his fanbase who treats his run-on-the-mill opinions like gospel despite he's not trying to sound like an intellectual at all and just simply doing what you said he does; Saying what everyone else is saying but in a monotone voice, and he got big because of it. Somehow. He's overall not much of an issue. I'll take him over your typical commentary YouTuber with the SunnyV2 editing style (no offense to sunnyv2) and sounding/acting like every other commentary YouTuber.

Though, I personally can't stand those "__ situation is insane/crazy" titles. Don't know why.

I think the pooner shooter in Tennessee was the catalyst for all of the alphabet brigade/fag shit not going over so well anymore with Joe Sixpack. "Pride Month" was notably more subdued this year, you heard about it very little in comparison to the media blitz in previous years and what did come to the public's attention was mostly negative, like the two grown men pissing on eachother in a kiddie pool in front of children on a public street. Most companies didn't change their avatar or banner image or upload some gay rainbow flavored version of their logo. I honestly believe that the wave has broken and rolled back, and most people aren't going to give these delusional shitheads the benefit of the doubt that they once enjoyed. Public sentiment obviously isn't going to sour overnight, not after the wall-to-wall lockstep tolerance and acceptance bullshit we were all bombarded with since the mid 2000s, but it's beginning to go that way. Anecdotally I've noticed many more people I would consider normies or normie-adjacent, not "plugged in" to most things, being more willing and open with their derision toward the alphabet people. Some even basically saying: "Yep, you are going back in the fucking closet and you're going to stay there."

And all of it was put in motion by the one thing they have been warned repeatedly not to do if they want their little imaginary gay luxury space communist dreamland to persist: Do not fuck with people's kids. That is the one thing that will escalate shit to death squads canvassing the streets. And what did they do? They fucked with people's kids, and they did so openly and proudly. I don't think there's much else they could have done to draw the ire of John Q. Taxpayer but that was the one thing they could do that would finally break the levee and they went full-bore into that shit like a fucking wrecking ball.

I hope they enjoy it, they've earned it in full but it'll still likely take a while for consequences to really come knocking.

I'm not sure if the costume design bit is grasping at straws or not, the whole skull facemask, hat and glasses was actually a thing alt-right people were also doing at the time and it spread to just be a general edgy thing. The first time I saw it were when people in that getup would scream "READ SIEGE BY JAMES MASON" at the camera, I actually used to have one of those facemasks myself from also making a video like that. I can't say about the rest of the outfit but I know for a fact that part was not a Shadman thing and Chris Tyson might not know that and he only did the shit because of Shadman but I'm not sure we should pursue vague connections when we already have so much legit stuff. It just kinda gives Chris defenders the ability to point to the weakest stuff they can find and call us schizos.
