For what it's worth, Boogie has had these kinds of manic swings in the past. Right after the Frank Hassle Killstream where he got roasted for 2 hours by Frank, Boogie took to Twitter and calmly talked about how it was a good show and he thought it was mostly an act by Frank. In reality, Boogie was secretly mass reporting Frank's YT channel at that moment in time (which he has never owned up to), and when Frank called him out on it he went berserk. Plenty of other examples but the guy definitely has the ability to go 0 to 100 or vice versa at the drop of a dime.

I do think there was some theatre, in the sense that it's Boogie vs. the world and Boogie is quadrupling down on what he feels is a grave injustice of the world picking on poor, mentally ill Boogie. So he's gonna ham it up to try and make people back off or regret their decisions by making them feel that they want too far. Theatre as a manipulation play, really.

I'm not trying to say he was (at one point) suicidal, I'm saying that the entire thing is just kino. I'm also not saying Keem write out a specific script, he just gave Boogie vague directions and he went with it. This is a guy who's been able to make skits, act, and do crazy shit in the past, right? I also believe that the people living with him are totally in on it. The timing of his roommate hitting the power was just too perfect to be real. The fact that Keemstar and the other hosts have consistently shown more care and concern for Dezi than Boogie has over the past 4 streams speaks volumes about how he treated his ex and how he is treating/will treat Dezi. Hell, even the call to his sister, who has explicitly told him before she wants nothing to do with his shows, says a lot about how much Boogie only looks out for himself. He doesn't take any time off camera to explain to her anything, not even a hello, delays telling her she is Live, just "give me the info I need, NOW". Who calls anyone and does that? Insane behavior. Yeah, it was very performative. Notice that whenever he stops to take a sip of his mountain dew (which happens constantly) in-between screaming, jumping, desk-pounding freakouts he is completely calm and relaxed before going right back into the unhinged screaming. I wouldn't call this very public lynching "getting away with it", these last few streams have been the modern day equivalent of someone being locked in the stocks and having rotten tomatoes thrown at them.
