What I find mental is they have confirmed that Biden has been pumped up with drugs to keep him lucid for at least a week.

It's not at all a restricted technology. You could use it as a private citizen or company.

If I misunderstood you and you meant it in a rhetorical context that's fine. I thought you were legitimately asking who gave them the legal authority. Which again they don't need any.

I’m not so sure about that. Has it been tested in court? For instance, does the federal government genuinely have the right to capture the facial images of American citizens, analyze facial features, identify the people in those images, and then store all of that information in government databases without any consent from those people? Who has access to those databases? How is that information made secure from hackers or other nefarious actors? Who has oversight of that very personal information? What is that information being used for? Are the security services required to get a warrant to access that information?

It is but it's more defensible and less likely to blow up in their faces. If Biden recovers they can downplay and cover it up and say that Biden approved of this course of action and retroactively approve of all impersonations of him (if they don't claim he did them in the first place and shorten the amount of time he was incapacitated). They'll get a slap on the wrist most likely and be able to say they were trying to think of the American people and not panic them blah blah. If Biden dies, they can scoot the incapacitation to later and/or say they didn't realize it was so bad and had hoped for a speedy recovery, but when he suddenly took a downturn, they immediately came forward. It's a little worse for them than if he recovers, but it's not smoking crater. It's in the realm of 'they would actually do this', whereas hiding his death they simply wouldn't.

tl;dr - hiding him being temporarily incapacitated, even if it ends in his death, is defensible. Hiding his death is not. Hiding his incapacitation potentially provides some benefits, while hiding his death doesn't.

You're officer WhiteMan responding every day, year after year, to calls about armed, violent, belligerant urban individuals. Their behavior is recalcitrant at best and homicidal at worst. They hate you and you've likely been attacked by "peaceful joggers" many times before. You constantly see weapons hidden in uncommon places, like kitchens, because violent crime and burglary is rampant. You walk inside the home of a fine young lady who quickly becomes unstable and unpredictable. You know she hates you because they all do.

I heard somewhere that he was a vegan. From the research I've done, that's genuinely not a truly sustainable diet in humans, and lacks some of the nutrients you'd need to live. You can get away with being vegetarian, but it makes you kind of a food cuck.
