It's such a weird choice because it's pretty universally recognized that women look just as good in suits as men, so why not have them wear the same suits male candidates do?Unironically, and no offense to any laaayyyyydeeeez on this board, but women work best behind the scenes. Same reason I'd say women CAN and a lot of times ARE funny as fuck, but they make awful stand-up comedians. It's the man's job to be the outward face of a company/ political movement/ group of any sort, and a woman attempting to do the same will always come off as either immature, annoying, sociopathic or some combination of the three. Plus they always dress the women up in pantsuits and those always look goofy, even on 10/10 models.
so focused on peace in the middle east he just snubbed Israel. Right.
Why would you release that energy into the world. That horror. Some things are best left unsaid.
Nothing. Not at least in the short timeframe that the US is rudderless. It'd take more than a senile, incapacitated president to get uppity nations defying US rules openly, since the administrative state and military apparatus is still intact. Not even the first time the GAE drifted like this either. (See: Wilson's final years.)How could other nations take advantage of Biden being unable to respond in person? Maybe Putin comes out and says he had a phone call last night where they made a secret agreement to end the Ukraine war along current front lines?
Now, that's just fucking cold. More than that, they don't even VERIFY themselves before hitting enter.Forgive me if this is late, butevidently Jimmy Carter kicked the bucket:

EDIT: Evidently fake and gay, though both the NY Post and KATC television reported it briefly then pulled their articles.

Apologies for my faggotry.
The VP outshining Kamala is perfect. She gets to keep doing fuck all, away from the limelight and cameras, while the VP meets the press and has the lefties fawning over how great they are. The MSM can sell it as 'team kamala' or 'team Harris' while creating a thousand stories about why X VP is perfect to help Kamala win.Is that a good plan? Because you run the risk of their natural charisma further highlighting Kamala's faults. Also a president getting outshined by their VP isn't a good look either.
That's...an amazing point. Old-school lefty turns 'right-wing' in the eyes of extreme lefties. It would help the left exorcise the cancer that are the far-left commies.I’d be down for this, solely because it’s been amusing watching Bill Maher be referred to as a Right Winger despite not having changed a single one of his views over the years. Fuckers the perfect showcase of the Overton Window shifting.
See above. Saves me typing it out again. Kamala's ego would take it because she does not want to be in the limelight. I feel for her in a way because it's obvious she is terrified of being on camera or on stage. And other celebrity would just overshadow Kamala, and I’m 50/50 on if her ego would take it.
we all know what trump won the presidencyTrump won because he is interesting as a person and had a devout following of supports and haters. So it was easy and fun to make memes of him and shitpost to get people riled up. It also helps that Trump trusted his supporters on that front and let them do what they want.
Other politicians have such a curated appearance that there is nothing really for people to latch on to that is memeable, and even if there was, their core base isn't really in to meme culture to make it up on their on their own. But, I think other politicians like trying to force memes because it gives them control over their image instead of risking something like being associated with a retarded frog like with Trump.
Kamala wouldn't need a VP to be affirmed. The Speaker of the House would just be next in line until inauguration day. That's not a big deal for less than six months. The only reason I can think of would be to avoid the congressional battle that would ensue to pick Kameltoe's new Vice-President. You need a majority of both houses, and the last time this happened it took like 4 months of in-fighting to elect someone. They're already going to have a Democrat civil war to pick her running mate, without compounding it with a whole other VP picking fight.
There's also a slight non-zero chance the new VP would be Johnson or some other Republican (even Vance), and the GOP would have tie-breaking vote in the Senate for a few months, though I believe the Senate is currently 51-49, so this is of limited utility.
So it looks like those rumors circulating earlier this week that Biden would resign on National Ice Cream Day (Sunday) aged like the finest of wines.
Haven't heard from Gehenna ITT since about 4 AM this morning it seems. Wonder what he's doing right now and if he heard any rumors about today prior that he just chose not to indulge here.
Now might be a good time for China to quietly gain control over Taiwan. How could other nations take advantage of Biden being unable to respond in person? Maybe Putin comes out and says he had a phone call last night where they made a secret agreement to end the Ukraine war along current front lines?
Nah. We're gonna get an MGS2 moment. He's stepping down.

That's not how that works, homie. The Speaker of the House only becomes the President if the VP and President die, he doesn't become the VP if the President dies/becomes incapacitated. She has to nominate someone, then the senate/house confirms that nomination for VP. The Speaker stays in his slot.Kamala wouldn't need a VP to be affirmed. No she doesn't. There's no law saying the vice presidency must be filled if it becomes vacant because of the VP getting bumped up to the Oval Office for whatever reason. If there's no VP then the Speaker of the House automatically becomes second in line. The 25th amendment leaves wiggle room to not nominate a new VP by saying "shall" instead of "must"That's not how that works, homie.
