When Chasov Yar collapses the goal of getting to the H-32 highway and shutting off the AFU lines in that salient will be accomplished, degrading the AFU even further and bringing its collapse within reach.

Is it going to be more expensive? Who knows, we don’t know how big of a cut the Hohols take. Neither do we know what price the Russians sell it at. And Russia has been known to give a discount to friendly countries and to countries who export Russian oil.

Is it drastically more expensive? Nah. Europe has been importing billions of barrels of oil by ship for decades. FFS, Europe is buying oil from INDIA. The price you pay for transportation is always going to be a fraction of the price of the actual oil.

Donetsk has a topology and an environment that makes it ideal for the kind of defensive war the Hohols have been trying.

Hungary can get oil elsewhere, but it is already a poor country. I hate to pull a Putdemort on the people here, but after WW1 Hungary lost most of its industrial centers and it hasn't really recovered even now.

Maybe they can source oil elsewhere, but even a relatively small increase in price will take its toll. That's beside the fact that new pipelines aren't built overnight and Hungary relies on trucks to carry goods and those don't run on hippie good vibes much to the Climste Goblin's chagrin.

So Ukrainian troops are now getting pulled away from the border of Belarus assuming the reason is that they need bodies for the front line We can round it up two weeks(article from july 13) since I keep hearing that estimates are like 14k a week of Ukrainian losses so thats 114,000 - 28,000 = 86,000 / 14,000 meaning if the same pressure is kept Russia will go through those bodies in about 6 in a half weeks. Of course we don't know how many Ukrainian bodies thee are in the frontline when Lukashenko stated they were withdrawing and how much bodies they can pull from the mobilization pool with the assumption that they moved all the 114,000 troops they had towards the front instead.

I will make a prediction that they will just try to hold off the Russians until it becomes muddy season and than we start getting a shitload of news reports of talks about some eastern european countries fulfilling Ukraine's request of sending some people back to fight the war. But if that starts to happen and news reports start emerging about Ukraine needs bodies from other countries that destroys the main western news narrative that Ukrainian losses are far smaller than Russian losses and those getting excited about Ukrainian getting more equipment "to make a difference" will realize its pointless because they are running out of bodies.

If this had actually been a journalist interviewing him, the obvious question would be about how an army of 100.000 at the beginning of the SM, according to Syrrski, jives with Ukrainian claims that the “invasion” wasn’t an attempt at regime change through other means, but an attempt at conquering Ukraine.

He could also have followed up the claims about the Black Sea fleet being “forced to relocate” with pointing out that Russia has been building a naval base east of Crimea since 2012, and that plans of moving the fleet hail back from before the SMO.

But they don’t even attempt to disguise their propaganda anymore.

And this despite the fact that official casualty figures are far lower. The way they weasel out of paying the families is to report as many as possible as “missing” and drag out the procedure for those who are KIA for as long as possible.

So they have 30-50K “official” dead, and another +100K that are in the pipeline and on the way to being declared KIA but not officially dead yet.

The only reason it’s not a massive scandal is because there’s no independent Ukrainian press anymore, and Ukrainians are used to being fucked over by their government.

Your average hohol thinks it’s the most natural thing in the world that the government might try to pill a fast one on bereaved families.

Just pure insanity. There's literally a wall of stories like these, and it's all within just the last few months. I also just wanted to share this outlet because they mostly publish good stuff that you don't really see anywhere about the war, but you are going to need a translator if u can't read Russian. The outlet is obviously very ideologically anarchist which is unfortunate but not really in a Portland sense, they just quoted someone saying "faggot" without throwing a shit fit/"content warning" or censoring it for example. But it does mean they include the odd cringe Makhno worship here and there. - It don't really bother me personally because I just want information on this war from genuine perspectives regardless of which side, but they sometimes include stuff that's happening with Russian forces & criticize certain actions done by the Russians as a counterbalance as they're just generally anti-war which might bother some. - The focus is mainly on Kharkov, but they do include things from all over. I check them regularly because the stories they highlight are insane, to me are unknown & often come with links.

Like for example, they wrote about how draft dodgers get sent to some horrific penal colony in Poltava called "Bozhkiv" which apparently exists and they linked to a video of torture there which has now surfaced. No coverage of any of this about the "muh wholesome democracy" over here, but it explains why dodgers are now becoming more desperate & violent in order to avoid going to prison.
