Lots of old accounts under the username "gilligfan" - apparently gillig is "an American manufacturer of heavy-duty low-floor transit buses." So, not a trainsperg, but a bonafide bus freak-- or in the words of https://twitter.com/GILLIGFAN5901, "Transit buff/Enthusiast." Claims she used to work for Pittsburgh public transit (doubtful), but regardless, now unemployed, female, and creepily obsessed with 2D loli under the name "Andrea," ...although as Andrew, continues to post bus-related :autism: e.g. https://www.facebook.com/andrew.dearolf/posts/690837844380365

If you want to find her various other FB or deviantart or "writing.com" acc'ts they're easy enough to google. Nothing too interesting-- lots of anime, Pokemon & other vidya. Here she is telling some truly hilarious lies about some DA drama that got her banned. Thats mostly it, except he streams his autism to the world.

I will say, though, that I've noticed recently that the speedrun community is ripe for retards. It felt obvious before but after looking into a lot of them through Chibi, theres a handful I an think of that could deserve a thread here.

That's true. I suppose to have to mindlessly play a single game over and over with the intent to complete it a few seconds (or milliseconds) faster every time takes a certain level of exceptional individuality..

I have no idea why, but this name sounds familiar to me. I'm from Pittsburgh, but still the name rings a bell somehow.

I highly doubt this dude worked for PATTransit. A lot of people around here think the transit authority is a total joke, but if he graduated around 2010-2015, Pittsburgh was gutting their transit department, cutting tons of routes and laying off drivers and staff in the process. I highly doubt they'd want anything to do with the equivalent of a foamer being anywhere near their equipment.

Also, "she"... yeah, totally convinced us, dude.

What's the status update on Chibi? He seems to have completely disappeared off the map.

Does he still live with his mom while working part-time at a gas station, or has he done anything of signifance? I'm only asking because some people were white-knighting for him in the comments for one of those Twitch "cringe" videos. Someone thought he was paying all the bills for his mom... wat?

I've been reading Youtube comments and they all say that he held down two jobs while speedrunning at his mom's. Apparently it had to do with a promise he made to his father. I have no idea how true this is.

Chibi is a case that I don't have a sense of humor, so much as an immense sense of pity. We have a full-grown man, more than a quarter century old, living in squalor in his downtrodden mother's house, while pursuing a pipe dream career that he can't even really get a dent into. He's such a sad, confused and unfortunately inept person that I can't really laugh beyond that video with CavemanDCJ, who I frankly kind to be just as cringe-worthy for different reasons.

If you want speedrunning gold, don't go after the speedrunners.... go after everything around them. The following could be dropped directly into a Wes Anderson movie as is.
