It is possible for sure, but I do think people might be making passing comments while seeing such a bizarre sight as Nick while he's so loud and obnoxious on his stream in public only for him to egg them on. Notice how he invites them into the shot each time and baits them for engagement.
I'm guessing he hears little things (like maybe someone commenting "wow, look at that dude in an awful dress") that he then escalates for the camera.

That's a good point, that's also very possible. And it would make sense that (only) young men engage with him when he does that, while other people just keep walking because they don't need the escalation.
Absolutely. I didn't even think what that kid said to Nick first was rude at all. It was only until Nick called them all back over to point the camera at them and they matched his pissy negative energy with their own. I'm glad these kids stood up for themselves against this creep.
