Following Mike Pence being booed at a performance of Hamilton on Broadway, President-elect Donald Trump has called for theatre to be a "safe and special place" where Vice-Presidents can cuddle teddybears and fill-in colouring books.

I actually agree on the booing part, but what the cast member said was eloquent, well thought out, and more or less polite. I think it was bullshit to blame the cast for the behavior of the audience.

That said, I probably would have booed the bitch myself. I just would have realized it wasn't terribly classy afterwards.

Not it's not. Anyone who agrees with what the cast did or would have booed pence is a dumb fat autistic manchild

Imagine that someone with a 'Hope and Change' sticker goes into a dinner, orders a meal and by dessert the whole kitchen staff comes out and gives that person a respectful lecture on capitalism and why socialized medicine, it would be retarded as fuck. It's a grossly unfair double standard. Yes Pence overreacted but as @Internet War Criminal said if Obama went to see The Book of Mormon and the actors stopped to give Obama a lecture on why his views on abortion are wrong that would be unprofessional and rude no?

If somebody after a play called Obama out on his drone strikes killing civilians, I would be all about that. What Pence got from the cast was incredibly tame. Pence himself stated that the booing from the crowd was free speech, so I'm not sure why people are wasting energy being upset on his behalf.
