If you're referring to Donum Vitae (1987) by "recently" then at least bother to read the footnotes where they cite these sources I've provided as well as others. if your point is that it was only more recently that the Church took a hardline stance against abortion, that's likely because abortion was almost always illegal in most first-world countries until "recently." Popes don't commonly write encyclicals on issues that aren't a pressing concern. not trying to derail the thread into an abortion debate but at least bother to do the bare amount of research before posting blatant lies.

The first time I realized that so many women voters are cringe was after the 2000 Democratic National Convention, when Al Gore slipped his tongue into Tipper Gore's mouth on stage. When I saw it as a kid, I was like "EW!" (as any normal kid would of course). Then, I saw my mom watching C-Span after the convention and SO many women callers were praising Al Gore's "passion" for Tipper.

"When I saw the way Al kissed Tipper ... That just did it for me!" I will never, EVER forget hearing that.

Even as I kid, I was like, "... Really?!" I was exposed to female voter stupidity very early on in my life, lol.

A lot of women are driven by consensus. I’m not trying to sound like a misogynist, but it’s unironically why you have a lot of women supporting trannies despite the majority of them being disgusting men. A false consensus will still have them cave to peer pressure and the desire to conform.

I forget who was arguing with @KiwiFuzz2 about this, but there was a back and forth on how a lot of women don’t want to get left out of social circles because a few influential women have troon and pooner kids or grandkids.

The vast majority of cities have plenty of tax revenue. It's only the places falling off a cliff, like Detroit, that have legitimate revenue problems, and even then, crime and lawlessness are bigger problems than the tax rate. NYC didn't exactly have low taxes under Rudy or Bloomberg.

Where I just moved from, the reason they had a problem with potholes is the mayor diverted the road repair budget to build bike lanes that nobody used and EV charging stations nobody wants. The answer to the problem isn't "cut taxes," it's "stop being a fucking idiot and use the budget to fix fucking potholes." What did the GOP mayoral candidate run for office on? Cutting taxes. He lost, and he deserved to lose, because the problem is fucking potholes, and he refused to say he would fix them. Even when confronted, point-blank, about the dire infrastructure problem, he'd deflect to tax cuts.

I completely agree with you. A large amount of the female population care a lot about "fitting in." That's how it has always been, and fellow women know exactly what you are talking about but a lot of them don't want to admit it.

They don't care about the consequences of the policies they tout ... They want those likes on social media! They want praise for supporting the current, trendy thing.
