There was a study along time ago something to the effect that gave a group of people straws of varying length where one straw was obviously shorter than the others. Everyone except the person with the short straw was in on it and insisted the short one was really longer than most of the others. The short straw person eventually went along with it and agreed the had a long straw. People are stupid and will conform their own observed reality to what others tell them it is. "Who are you going to believe, us or your own lying eyes?". A large chunk of people will ignore their own lying eyes. There is a reason this sort of gaslighting is so widespread. It works.

Or people see no point in fighting alone on something so absurdly unimportant

Only problem is, that principle easily translates to shit that is important. Humans are gregarious animals, being isolated from the group hits us in our bellies and cuts our brains out of the picture a lot of the time. But we're also individualistic to an extreme degree in many contexts. Humans are weirdly complex in our individual and group behaviors

@Sniperwoof is correct. If you wanted to, and if you scraped certain thread clusters and fed them through an AI, you could probably recreate the flow charts and decision trees / conversation leading trees they have been given, there’s so much of it. They all sound the same, use the same phraseology, the same keywords and keyword linking patterns and respond to the same triggering keywords or concepts, with the same deboonking or arguments. Some are clearly bots, from the limited stimulus response and others are clearly very much human (poor sods, I wonder how long they last before going native…)

It’s not just Reddit either. There are people embedded in every reasonable sized comment section or message board. There’s your military intel types like Elgin, there’s the Uks 88th and behavioural nudge people and there’s political policy staffers and big standard journalists as well. The former take the temperature, they try to flood places (4chan has been very damaged by this.) They also start threads in very specific ways to gauge public sentiment on issues.
Ive personally been in multiple threads in bloody mums net of all places where one has popped up and you think, ‘aye aye, here’s a policy gauge thread’ and two weeks later it pops up in the media as a concept with tweaking based on ‘the blindingly obvious ’ stuff that was pointed out to them.
A huge amount of public behavioural manipulation is done like this.

They really don’t for all the things they want to do. Well run cities with well planned budgets can prioritize what needs to be done and they can sometimes get most of it taken care of.

The pothole cities (almost always Leftist) keep electing the same types of people (Leftists) to lead them because ideology is more important to them than competency.

Do you have any references for this? I've been led to believe that Catholics, which I assume you mean by "the church," have always taken the stance that abortion is immoral, but as a non-Catholic, I can't say for certain. My quick research suggests that abortion has been condemned since the 1st century. And you just stated that abortion is murder. Obviously, murder has always been considered a sin. Is there a distinction you're making when you say "allowed"? Or are you just making shit up?

People have been saying this for like four straight years now. At this point, I'll believe it's happening once the institutions are actively being retaken from the ideologues.

This is how women exert power in society. You’re not strong enough to exert power with physical might. if women wanted power (and women have done, don’t doubt that) you do it using males as proxies if you want to control males and society, and you do it via consensus to control females.

In the older world, this is Agrippa, or a matriarch controlling her daughters in law because her mother in law made her life hell. In the modern world, you’ll get groups of women. One queen bee, a subgroup of women below that who are enforcers, and below them, the mass. Always a few outcasts to really flex in as well. The bee will set the tone of what’s allowed and sic her enforcers hard on anyone who objects or challenges. This ends up with the mass auto policing and also going after dissenters in the hope that they will go up the hierarchy. Women who are not outcasts but do not play along are met with quite astonishing amounts of vitriol. If you’d like a Hollywood version, go watch Heathers. We wear pink on Wednesdays, Gretchen.

Our problem now is that this power mode is being used across the whole of society, rather than mummies groups and church committees in small villages. Women care desperately about fitting in because ostracism is social death. There’s work done in some primates that have these hierarchies as well, and the lower down females get so stressed they actually get sick. It’s clearly deeply embedded in us
